The last mission, on the airplane, is it even possible to do that in 60 seconds on Veteran? Is there a huge reward for doing it?

I spent 2hrs trying to get through it last night, and the furthest I got was the 3rd section on the 2nd level. Not very fun.
The prologue is beatable on veteran. I've done it so it has to be possible. You just have to be really quick and time everything perfectly and not suck at aiming. A nice trick is to never reload. Fire your gun dry then as you're moving forward, pick up one of the terrorists guns.

The only reward you get is the achievment unlock if you have the 360 copy of CoD4.

It's the epilogue... the prologue was the training mission where you chose your difficulty level and the ship mission.

But yeah, Mob's strategy works the best. Oh yeah, and sprint to knife that first guy who comes out of the bathroom.

What do you get? There is an achievement for the plane thing?

I finally tried it last night and needless to say I didn't get very far. That **** is HARD

Edit: I finally beat the mile high club on vet. After many youtubes, I found the best one. Sorry about his annoying voice but he's got the best guide so far. ;)

I made sure I beat the game before playing online because I knew I would never do it if i started playing online first.

I really did like the story, but it was way too short. I didn't even know it was the last mission until you had to get off the bridge, I was just like "wtf, that's it?!" and was a bit P/O but was satisfied nevertheless.

Great story, great game, **** servers.

PS: Favourite mission is easily On Shot.. with Death from Above coming in a close second. The gameplay in both these missions was very slow until the last minute but I like them.

the single player is insanely difficult on veteran, mostly because getting hit twice usually makes you die.... sooo i havent been able to get very far without spending most of my time hiding.... does anyone else have a better way of doing it??

Let your teammates do as much as they can before going ahead.

I'm sure others are with me when I say that that mission was the f*cking coolest sh*t I've ever done in any videogame. It seriously makes me want to be a navy SEAL or SAS or some crap. God how I came to that mission.

I finally got a PS3 and COD4 and spent the first day playing the offline campaign on Hardened and beat it the same day (while watching the football games). It was a great story but I wish it was longer.

I waited until Kaizev (spelling?) turned around and looked at me before blowing his brains out.

When escaping after removing the russian chap's arm where should you establish yourself when waiting for the helicopter? I've lived long enough for the helicopter to arrive several times, but my place on the overturned dodgem car is too far away from the captain to be able to extract him, the bloody cowards in the helicopter take off too soon. Eight of my claymores explode so they are reasonably well placed and the C4 charges take their toll but I just can't kill enough enemies. Where should I be placed to kill more of them?
