That'd be a good plan, but I don't see any tipped over bumper cars...
EDIT
Ohhh. Nvm, that's at the end of the mission. I was talking about right after you snipe that dude.

OOOOHHHHH, the first wave after you rapal!! Why didn't you say that? What I did was shot the first few, threw grenades because you get plenty of those, then when I made my move, I sprinted throwing flash bangs in the air and shooting the non-flashed guys with my pistol. I halo jumped and proned when I started getting shot too much.
The key to that first part is to not take a long time. The longer you take, the more guys and dogs come after you. You have to move quick and get to the apartments fast.

I picked up an AK47 for that part and just booked it.

I've beaten it and am playing it on Veteran now... or I was until I got to a part that is literally impossible to beat. No, really, it's not just really hard... it's impossible.
I don't remember the level, but you are the USMC Marine, and you are flying into the town with the whole large group of helicopters, and you are using the helicopter weapon to shoot down anti-aircraft and tanks and stuff....
Know what I'm talking about?
Anyway, that beginnning part is literally impossible to beat. You can't duck, dogdge, or do anything to save yourself from the shots fired. You take the hits and die instantly. The only way possible to save yourself is to kill every single enemy on the ground, and that is just not possible.
Anyone been to where I am and know what I'm talking about?

It took a lot of tries but it's all about learning what to shoot first. Anything that shoots you and kills you, make sure to hit it quick the next time around. Be quick, don't waste extra nades on anyone. Just keep pounding a few onto all the APC's and AA guns. Don't even shoot at infantry.

So I've spent my offline time finishing up COD4 campaign on the hardest possible setting. Getting through the underground tunnels at the launch facility to upload the abort codes was a nightmare. I think it took me 3 hours to get through that.
Question:
The last mission, on the airplane, is it even possible to do that in 60 seconds on Veteran? Is there a huge reward for doing it?
I spent 2hrs trying to get through it last night, and the furthest I got was the 3rd section on the 2nd level. Not very fun.

Before I went away I couldn't get past One Shot One Kill. All I had to do was wait for the chopper but it took me like 2 hours so I stopped. I just got back and tried it because Helix was telling me to hide behind the bumper cars, and BAM first try I got it. That's hilarious. Now for the rest of the aggravation ;)

Good luck if you're doing it on Veteran, there's some hard stuff ahead. I'd say you're entering the final quarter if you just completed that mission.

I just beat it on normal and I thought that was harder than I thought it was going to be. I'm going to go play it again on easiest to get my intels, save the farmer and such. No way I'm playing this on hard, I probably wouldn't make it through the first level. It wasn't the longest game in the world but thats ok cause the multiplayer kicks ***.

CoD 1 & 2 weren't the longest of games either. I had no problem playing the campaign over and over though. Never played three though.
On-line is tons of fun too. Far better than Halo 3 imo.
