Throw some C4 along the left side of the bumper cars area then just sit behind a tree. Guys will run up behind the tipped over bumper car to shoot at you, they are easy pick offs. The tree will protect you from a lot of shots being fired at you. Use the C4 to take out people rushing you around the side. If you need to, hide behind a tree and pop out to knife guys coming around. Don't try to take them with a weapon because most of the time you will lose. Doing it this way will condense your attackers down from attacking you from 5 different directions down to 1 1/2.

When the chopper finally arrives, you obviously need to work quickly. Shoot everyone you can see in front of you because they will be focused on the chopper. Run over to pick up your injured man shooting more guys as you go. No, as you do this, throw flashbangs into the air to stun your enemies. Before you pick up what's his name, throw the rest of your flashes out then charge to the chopper using different obstructions to give you cover.

This mission was a PAIN IN THE *** on veteran and took me a few trys but I found that to be the best strategy.
I've got a better one for you, much easier. Get your sniper rifle (switch to Dragunov if your low on ammo) and an AK-47. I have a good play by play strategy but the most important thing to do is after you take care of the first wave and the choppers start dropping reinforcements, go to the back right (NE corner) of the bumper car rink and you can easily take care of anyone coming near you (don't worry about MacMillan they won't kill him). If you stay crouched you're not going to get hit and you still have a great view to snipe people out. They'll only go by the admissions booth directly across from you and stay there or run across the ferris wheel. Only a few will try and rush you but you'll be able to take care of them long before they become a threat. When the chopper arrives go pick up MacMillan and shoot anyone in your way. Be sure to stay clear of the cars in front because with all the fire coming your way they'll blow up and kill you. Go behind the admissions booth by the ferris wheel, hop the fence, and get into the chopper. Easy as hell.

You can't hop anything with MacMillan's crippled *** on your back.

Yes, that is the same exact thing I did. But, I couldn't use the Claymores since I already used them in the beginning.

I really was surprised with how good the story was... the mission before the nuke went off was a really great one, along with the last 3 missions (including the epilogue). idk, i'm always a man for a great story.

The Single Player went fast, but it was well worth it just for that! It was extremely realistic one of the best shooter games out ever

I have played and beat this game several time. I can't get enough of it. I don't have internet right now so all I can do is play offline.
Here is a good tip though. Play the game on recruit and go find those enemy intel laptops! Sure the first couple of cheats are stupid, but when you find 10 you get omega grenades which are a life saver! At 20 laptops you will get the ability to use Slow Motion, like shooting Zhakayev at the end of the game! This makes ANY battle way easier to handle. Just turn it on and off whenever you want. Got twenty baddies coming at you? Turn it on and take 'em out before they can find cover. It is especially useful when they are coming out of the choppers, because you can snipe them as they slide down.

Amazing.

Working through the single player right now, I agree it is one of the most amazing single player FPS's I have played.

There you go... lol

I beat the game on veteran about two weeks ago and man was it HARD AS HELL. Definitely took a while on some maps. Certain maps I thought would be easy were way hard and vice-versa for what I thought were going to be hard maps. That confused me.
