Problem with Rank???

My online rank doesn't not seem to be saving. Last night I logged on with a rank of level 3. I played threw the night and got myself up to a level 11. I then logged off. The next time I got on, it said I was only a level 6, and I had to work my way back up, after unlocking items and attachments and such.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, do you have to save your online stuff, or is it just a glitch in the system or something. If anyone can enlighten me as to why this is happening, and how to avoid it, I would greatly appreciate it.

I had something similiar happen where my rank went back to the starting Wishbone rank. I about had a stroke because I was one level up and one Victory away from Level 37 and unlocking the precious G36C and turned the system off then back on and it was back to my original rank...
Hopefully, yesterdays garbage is cleaned up so I can play.

Yeah, I play Socom, and all of my Socom clan mates have this game and we have a clan. I was at level 11 last night when I turned off my game, One level away from being able to join the clan, now i'm back down to 5 again and have to work my way back up. I hope this doesn't seem to continue ...... BS

the servers and everything are really messed up right now...i remember when socom 2 came out and the servers were really bad. We just gotta give them time

Yeah I just got back on today, and my rank level was back up to 11. So hopfully the server is working fine now, and they got the kinks out

Dropping from 11 to 6 isn't really that much when you consider how much XP it takes to move up one level in 35 and up. I reached the equivalent of the max beta level in about 3 hours and have only gone up level 35, I think it might be 34, since then. Man, no more letting my friends play for me when I go to the bathroom or away from the controller, in the 30 minutes I left to go get pizza my Kill to Death ratio dropped from 1.37 to 0.84. I really need to get my game on

Yeah I here ya. I'm a level 34, and I'm still having problems when I first log on. Now instead of giving my my real rank, I see that it gives me a level 8 instead. I have to log off, log back on, turn my system off then on again and all of that kinda stuff to finally get my rank back to normal.

It's a real process that lasts up to 30 minutes sometimes. From 34 to 8 is pretty significant. They really need to fix this problem, It's never actally gave me my real rank the first time I log on. Please fix asap, it's really annoying to have to go threw hell in order to play with my real rank.

I'm currently level 35 in my second time through prestige mode. As long as you don't suck and you go through the challenges quickly when you're playing, you can level really quickly.

I don't understand the point of Prestige mode. I mean, what's the incentive? So far it seems to only be a nerd-wang enhancer.
