Digital World High-Tech Vest Lets Gamers Take a Hit
Never played Call Of Duty myself (like once or twice but that doesn't count) but thought you guys might find it interesting. It's a vest where it allows you to feel body impacts including "gunshots, missile attacks, kicks and punches." The link says its going to be released when COD4 is released in November.
I couldn't help but think what the hell would it feel like when a missile explodes compared to the pain of a bullet "wound".

I would probably never get it, but that's an idea that will make millions I bet. It obviously couldn't cause pain, but it would be a different experience than playing regularly.
Also, it would give the player an advantage as to where the enemy shooter is.

100$, 200$, Max 250$ and I will buy this in a heart beat this is a dream that is coming true for one reason..... You know where you're getting shot from. It's probably a little tap but it most likly will tell you the direction its coming from...
EDIT: I just read it and noticed 189$ I'm sold.

Providing you get shot in the torso...
If COD4 is as good as it claims, by the time you realize where the shots are coming you would probably be dead.

thats exactly why its pretty useless. It would be more helpful for socom as it takes a while for you to die

Lol, and Sony said it didn't think rumble was such a big deal.
I saw this thing announced last week. It's pretty interesting, and a great step in the right direction. My thing is I'd want to to be direction-specific, so if I'm being shot in the back, I feel it on my back. As pointed out, it's only helpful if you're being shot in the torso.
The current model delivers the hits via 8 air pockets; 4 on the front and 4 on the back. Available in your-parents'-basement-camo, black and pink.
I like the idea of it. Is it washable though? I mean, if you use this thing a lot it's going to pick up some funk.
Preorder and get $20 off.
EDIT: It doesn't look like you can use this with consoles yet, so don't be too quick to blow your money sublime.

LMAO.... You'd be spazzing out because with most guns it takes like 20-30 bullets to die... That'd be hilarious.
And omega I'm surprised it started out for PCs... Stuff like this usually starts out on consoles, like rumbles, or driving steering wheels or chairs, etc.
