Yeah I hear ya on that, but in comparison to every other shooter, it's a damn good list.

No doubt about that. Hopefully (and I have no doubt), each gun will have its advantages and disadvantages. For example, Socom has quite a lot of weapons, but some are never used. I'm sure IW went to the end of the earth and back to perfect the weapons, making each one as valuable as the next, so to speak.

It's amazing the level of detail they've put into it. I have the strategy guide, and that's where list comes from. There are 270 pages packed with info about the game, and holy jesus is it thorough.
They've made every effor to make the guns as close to their real life counterparts. Appearence, sound, power, range, kick, spray and reload times. Just, wow.
Oh and Nun, the G36c has a 2 second reload time. That's without the slight of hand perk. That's fast.

Damn, I can;t wait for this game. Personally, I'm excited for the G3. It is semi, but one of the things I always loved about COD was the fact that semi or bolt-action (non-sniper rifles) rifles were not overwhelmed or inferior to automatics.

In the beta it was single-shot. My only gripe is not having the option to change the rate of fire.

Depending on how the modern aspect of the game will play into how many rounds you can put down range (and how important that will be), it shouldn't matter, as it didn't with past COD games... if that makes sense.
