You guys do know more and more waves are coming that will let more people play the beta, right?

Yes, I know, but the next wave on Monday is at 12:00.....so I'm not going to be able to register until 3.....I don't likely see me getting in that day. I just figure somebody on this site could at least trust Marvin into letting him try to download it.

I told my friend about the beta, and he tried to sign up to the site too, but it didn't work for him either.

I registered and made my Beta request last night. After I saw the video I signed up for the Beta right away with 14 Hours of sign up time left. I never got a confirmation e-mail but now that I heard that their accepting waves maybe I'll have a chance.
Game looks so awesome.

I have to ask how you two made your beta requests already? If you scroll over the "enter now" button, it changes over to "coming soon", at least for me. The second wave shouldn't be starting until 3 pm EST today, so you guys may have to "re-enter" yourselves into the beta at that time since I'm not sure your requests got through.

In a fiasco similar to the Amazon 1000 100$ Xbox 360 cores, and the GTAIV trailer release, I didn't even get a chance to get a COD4 beta.

I don't even see how people get them...seriously....the SECOND it went to 12:00/2:00/3:00, right when you refreshed, your page went blank and it'd give you an error. I don't even...understand.....do some people just get "lucky" and it takes them right to the page? idfk....but it's ridiculous, because EVERY SINGLE TIME THERE'S A MAJOR INTERNET RELEASE, I'm left out in the cold, trying to get the page to load...and it never does. Hell, Marvin said about 10 minutes after the thing went up, he finally got onto the page, and ALL of the beta tokens were gone, and I was still sitting there "trying" to load.

Completely ridiculous, and now their whole site's down. Hell, I couldn't even get onto their site 1 hour after the beta token giveaway.....

I totally agree with you... I've had nothing short of a Microsoft RROD (red ring o' death) experience trying to get myself registered, once it finally went "live" at 12pm PST.

According to the site, it should be back up shortly... that's a statement that I wouldn't bet on actually happening.

During the very first beta sign up, their site dropped due to heavy traffic. Then the instructions were posted on fourzerotwo.com by an IW member who is running the beta.

And Nun, when I signed up, I signed up about 20 minutes INTO the sign ups, but didn;t get in until a few days later. So if you do get accepted, it might not be right away, but sometime this week.
