Just read some news that the devs shot down some rumors abotu the PS3 version being "inferior". They said this will NOT be another case of ****** portism (yes, it is a disease) *Cough Ubisoft, EA*. He said that the differences are SOOO minimal that you would not be able to tell which version it is unless you see a controller or a keyboard and mouse.
I just don't know what version to get now. I want to play with my old Socom clan. And some have 360s, and some want to play it on that, and some have PS3s, and more will be getting PS3s later. Hmm.......oh well. I have till November to decide :p.

Why would they release information earlier, only to change so drastically?

Your first post stated that the PS3 version would be "better" to sum it up in one word. Now, however, they are saying all platforms that the game is available on will be exactly the same.

I never said that. I just said the PS3 version doesn't suck. That they are all the same, with very very minimal differences.

If that's the case, how is (or was) that good news for the PS3?
I must be misreading, but the PS3 version was to be "better" however, it is now not.

Because recently the PS brand has gotten anally raped on ports. Very poor quality compared to the original/intended console. Actually, that's been true for the most part since splintercell...
