no kidding, at first graw was a fun game..but then it lost its fun
we played the same 3 maps all day and its still great

Some other great things about this game:
Creating a "party". This was new to me, though I've been told it's been in a couple different games. Basically you can get you and your peeps together in a party before joining a game. Then you can all easily join the same game, and be on the same team from then on. This is a tremendous time saver, because you don't have to look for games that have room for everyone, and then you don't have to ask the host to switch people around. It's so good.
COD4 also features rotating spawn points. There are a couple different spawn points on each map, and your team will rotate through them as the round is going on. This almost completely cuts out spawn-camping.
Shooter fans are sure to be pleased with this game when it comes out in November. As Murq said, the beta is only 3 maps, and I've had nothing but endless fun playing the same three for hours on end.
I'm not even sure if it's worth getting Halo, for me at least.

The only thing I dislike about the party system are the occasional uneveness of teams. I've had search and destroy matches start out 3v7 due to the 7 being in a party, and I get stuck on the team of 3, making it near impossible to win.

Pretty sure max party size is 6? But yeah we've had some like 6v2's, you know that they learned form this though and they'll fix it in the real deal.
