You can split screen on PS3, but not on 360...why?

Personally, I think split screen is overrated... online is where it's really at.

No, but 9 out of 10 of the friends that I have are living their own lives, sometimes in other states, and online gaming is where we hookup and chat... it's cheaper in the long run than long distance phone calls. The people that I know who just drop by to play games usually always want to play party-type games... like Scene It, Guitar Hero (just about the only split screen we all play), Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario Party, etc etc.
Hence why I feel it is overrated.

I already know split screen will be coming in handy for me in a couple years, although it will be annoying not having the whole screen to myself.
Some friends and me are looking at apartments for when we all go to NKU. One has a PS3 (but not COD4 - just Rock Band) and another has a 360. So you have 3 (maybe more in a year and a half) systems being split between 6 guys and random friends that come over.
Of course I'll be showing them all how to play COD4. And how to own some nubs.

I just got out of a room of glitchers. I had no idea I was playing Socom...
I was playing a match of Bog against a clan, and they were glitching. One guy was on top of the metal containers, another was on the bus, another was inside of the of the little bulldozer.
WTF! This isn't socom..
