Oooh, I checked the forum there and I do have the green "Beta 4" star. Not everyone has it, but I still have no email or msg on XBL about being accepted, so maybe it's just all the people that signed up for the beta that get the green star?

Then again, that makes little to no sense, so I do have moderately high hopes to hear something by tomorrow.

I received my email acceptance into the COD4 beta last night, but I registered myself under my work email address, so I didn't get it until a half hour ago.

Needless to say, I am in a much better mood now after reading the email... can't wait to get home and get it downloaded!!!

I see a lot of confusion on what this strange COD4 BETA icon under certain members user names mean, and allow me to break the mystery.

If you have a COD4 BETA Icon under your user name on the forums, this means that your registered to receive or have already received a BETA token for the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer BETA.

Some of you who haven't received keys yet are probably on the list who signed up over the 24-hour sign-up and your key just hasn't arrived yet.

Essentially, if you have an icon, you're a beta tester (present or future) so congrats. We appreciate all the great feedback you guys have been providing in helping us fine tune the multiplayer experience before launch.

Awesome, that means I'm in, at some point!

yea, in your email they give you a code then once you get the code in the email you have to goto redeem code, its like when you buy ms points but only it doesnt take an hour to dl ms points

I was thinking maybe they sent them alphabetically by gamertag since you, creep and vash got yours, but then I remembered TheNunPuncher got his too.

Have they raised the level cap past 11 yet???? I got to 11 in about an hour, and I got all the perks and tried everything out. I unlocked all the equipment for all the guns too except for all of the camo.

I will be interested to play some more if the level cap is raised, and some more unlockables are released. I see that G3 faded out, I want that. I love that gun.

From what I read in the email I got this morning, it sounded really vague on how often Infinity Ward is going to be updating the in-game rankings... let alone how high they plan on updating the ranks.

Remember... the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer BETA has a Rank Cap. So you won’t be able to rank up past the rank cap noted in the Message of the Day box in the lobby. That's very reassuring. I've been watching my email all day, but still don't have it. I still got hope though. With any luck I'll get it tonight. That's better than getting the email today and having to sit at work, just waiting for the magic hour to roll around.

Helix and I both got in, so you'll be seeing one if not both of us soon.
