It's not you because I have experienced the "Connection Interrupted" at least twice when I get on to play COD4.

I've had no problems with XBL since Christmas... sorry to hear some of you all are having problems. It must be a game by game kind of issue, because I'm not playing much multiplayer stuff ever since I started games of Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect. But at least I am not being constantly logged off of their network in the same way that I am with Sony's network. As far as PSN goes, I'm so infrequently signed in on their network, I don't know if there are still ongoing problems or not... I've always had issues staying on the PSN network to begin with... so meh. <shrug>

It's posts like this that make my random disappearances from the forums seem that much more enjoyable.

User alert! User is feeling sentimental right now. Error. Rebooting.

Thats pretty odd and my only guess is it must be a game by game issue, Because i bought the 40gig ps3 just about 6 weeks ago and i have yet to experience any online issues. yes there are times when the lobby is acting up and there are hosting problems but thats more of a problem with the game itself. as far as getting online though with the ps3 i personally have yet to experience a problem. hell the thing practically read my router signal right out of the box and has not failed me since. so you get faster downloading and customer support (which i am guessing is probally as useless as having no customer support at all) im sure XBL is great and all but in 2008 sony will step it up so for me i will use that 65$ bucks for XBL on some herbal remedy instead :)

Did the magical Sony fairies tell you this? My track record with Sony has dictated that I should take a "believe it when I see it" approach.

Why do I never encounter problems with sony and the internet.. I never encountered a problem with xbl either when I had it... So instead of blaming them why don't you upgrade your internet.... I play online every day and never have problems.

I doubt you've played xbl within the past week or two. It's not our ISPs, trust me.

What would upgrading my internet do? Give me a more expensive bill every month? Oooh... where do I sign up for that?

I already have one of the better high speed internet packages that Comcast offers... and when it's an issue between the free service (PS3) sucking arse and the pay service (XBL) running well, I don't think upgrading my internet connection will be much of a help.

Besides, how am I blaming Sony? It's a free service, and like the old saying goes... you get what you pay for... which is nothing.

Granted, I am not a rocket scientist, but that seems like rather simple logic to me.
