Call of Duty 4 discussion

Games like headquarters and most respawns are gonna be ruined down the road if they dont patch up the turret guns and other small problems. i played in a game the other day where 2 people on my team had over 110 kills with under 20 deaths and 3rd place had 80+ kills and i came in 4th with 35-17. needless to say we destroyed the other team and it couldnt of been fun for them. the map was downpour and these two guys switched on and off the turrets shooting aimlessly at everything nonestop getting kill after kill. 95% of all there kills they never even seen after all the constant airstrikes, choppers and what not. man that thing was ripping threw buildings, metal, cement walls hell even bulldozers. i know the gun is powerful enough in real life but this is suppose to be a fun video game also. the sad part is i played shipment with them also and it was even worse. these guys would hide behind the metal containers where the other team spawns and just shot threw the walls killing you instantly as soon as you spawn. b/c the map is so small it doesnt switch you back and forth from spawns as good as it does on other maps. i love this game with a passion and this is a small reason to not play this game but it definately is the reason i stick to mostly search and destroy. not that it doesnt happen there also but for the most part people usually dont use the turrets.

Well, that or one of my teammates knife me, but that's a different story.

Actually i only played with them for a few maps but i made sure to stay since i always join losing teams. also i have the same luck as you on the turret gun but these guys had it down to a science not to mention its hard to get close enough to snipe him when theres constant airstrikes and choppers gunning you down. i take it they have been doing that since the game came out. the other team barely scored more than 20 points in 3 straight games of headquarters.

If you know how to use the turret, you can stay up on it for a long time, get a bunch of kills, and live. You just have to know the key vantage points people will try to kill you from and have really good vision.

anyone being having trouble the last 2 days with COD4 and xbox live? It has been taking forever to find matches.

I finished SP today, a lot of fun and whatnot but way too short and easy.

I wanted to get SP out of the way first, now I need to see what online is like.

Yeah yesterday and today. It's been terrible.

Yup, even my other games have problem with online. Xbox Live seems messed up.

Xbox live is ****ed.

They claim it is because of the sudden increase of players. (Christmas noobs)

Come on, what are we paying for, if the servers can't handle players. >_>
