That doesn't mean the hit detection sucks, though.
I'm willing to bet nearly 100% of the time somebody says "I lit that guy up and he didn't drop!" it's a case of the player missing. I'm guilty of it, too.
I did hear that shooting someone in the knee was more powerful than other vital areas, though.
I've run into the same thing he's experienced..2-3 guys standing in front of you, and you just unload into one of them. I'm 100% positive that my aimer is directly on a guy and I just sit there and burst fire on him the whole time and he doesn't even flinch..then I just drop because I die.
And yes, shooting people in weird places like the knees and legs is retarded. Just watching the kill cam when I die makes me want to toss my 360 off a building, because sometimes I can have my aimer on a guys chest and/or head and burst fire, he just takes it like a champ and then he aims and shoots your leg and it looks like you get headshotted.
I never got my 25 either, I got up to a 23 on Sunday night and then stopped playing by choice.
Ok, my buddy says that the gameplay in this game is horrible, and he would rather play Halo 3. What do you think about it? I don't have time to go through this thread to find out.
Is your buddy a Halo fanboy? I played both betas, and COD4 blew Halo away. I haven't played the full version of Halo though, and I don't really plan on it.
I'd rather play the COD4 beta than any other full game out right now. Futuristic alien shooters aren't really my cup of tea.

You'd have to ask him his reasoning, and decide if it applies to you as well. Though both are FPS, their gameplay is distinctly different in that in COD you do not have force shields, laser swords, invisibility cloaks, etc.
COD4 is more for the tactical shooter, while Halo is much more aracade-like.
That's just my opinion. If you liked Rainbow Six, Socom, or any other shooter like those, you'll likely be happy with COD4.
Lol, murqq, i never got a chance to play with you, same with lib and zech.

In the end it really boils down to what you're personal preference is. Realism, or unrealism. While realism is always good to play, it can always get very aggravating to know one shot is all you need to go down. Unrealism can be extremely fun although it is not my preference.
