Actually, metaphor is a bad way to describe it. I believe the correct word I was looking for was OxyMoron. A monk being one who has achieved a mentally and spiritually enlightened state and thus finds a peaceful harmony in all things through faith and good will. You think monk you think kindness, compassion, mercy, love, and a willingness to help. Perverted in the sense that said state is one that I, myself, will not likely be able to achieve do to the fact that I have soiled my soul by not acting whole-heartedly and kind in every situation I have encountered nor have I not allowed my mind to drift into darkness from time to time. Therefore I would most likely not ever be able to find peace and harmony in all things because my mind and soul have been perverted from vairous factors I have encountered in my life.
So, while still trying to achieve said state of peace and enlightenment I am "monk-like". However since I have been tarnished and do not always act in the compassionate way a monk should I have "perverted" myself by turning away from the enlightenment I seek and chosing the unrighteous way. ....Get it now? =)
Oh, and for the record. I in no way believe I am or could become a monk, so when I use "I" in the above explanation it is merely giving a center focal point to the interpretation.
Besides, I thought the name sounded cool. ;)
