It'll be interesting to see how they handle the T-90 with the T-72 in the same game.

I've had a B-1 drop 3,000 pounds of explosives in one day during a pretty intense firefight. That thing is no joke. I thought the sky was being ripped apart when it came screaming in and dropped a JDAM.

It will most likely be a single player thing (or maybe something like an air raid in 1943). Cause if you think about it, the maps would have to be absolutely massive just for the thing to do a 180.

That's a good point. Definitely not a vehicle suited for an online shooter lol. Plus, it's regular payload of a 2,000 pound JDAM would devestate massive areas in BF's destructive terrain.

Interesting customisations available. If the Canister shells are like old fashioned canister shot for cannon, you'll basically be driving around in a giant armour plated shotgun.

Coaxial weapons are machine guns slaved to the main cannon, so you can kill infantry without being exposed. They were in BC2 and maybe even WaW. Its good that they aren't standard.

Implementation of reactive armour will be interesting. This stuff is atttached to modern tanks in little bricks and is essentially a little explosive which is detonated when a projectile is just about to impact. The explosion basically increases the effective thickness of the armour by disturbing the enemy ordnance before it hits the traditional armour. If employed realistically, it will make tanks damn hard to kill. It will also kill any friendly infantry nearby when it detonates. It should not be equipped on the rear of the tank though, and for gameplay's sake should not be on the sides either.

Auto-loader... in reality this removes the need for one crew member, the loader. It means you only need 3 men for each tank. Used by the Soviets a lot, but only recent units have been anywhere near as fast as a manual loader. And in every other video-game, loading is automatic anyway. Maybe they will artificially use this perk to speed up reloading.

ATGM is a guided missile for use against other tanks. This doesn't just include TOW's and Javelin's and such like- in some Soviet designs, including the T72 and T90, both of which are in this game, a missile could be fired from the main gun barrel.

APFSDS is a penetrator round. Traditionally tank shells use explosives to damage other tanks, but these projectiles are designed to penetrate wholly based on shape and weight. They are pretty damned effective.

Extinguisher is presumably a fire extinguishing system, enhancing survivability. They could have made make the crew vulnerable to attack rather than just the vehicle- being inside a tank when it is hit but not destroyed is still no picnic- but this is probably just a fake damage repair system.

I saw amphibious vehicles in a video. This is cool- the LAV can drive in water, or at least it used to do so, the AAV 7 is designed to do so, and the BMP can too. However, they are all meant to be quite slow in the water. LEss than 10mph. But in this video the vehicle moved pretty fast. I think for gameplay's sake they should be slow in the water- they can cross rivers, lakes and ponds, but they are vulnerable while doing so.

Can you imagine being in a speed boat like those in BC2 and meeting a full blooded APC out on the water? That would be slaughter.
