man I love my epiphone. The Fender was good for awhile but then I got my SG and imo, it blows fender out of the water.

In that case I will hit up every bon fire around me. Anyways, this is my guitar. I bought it at guitar center, it was on sale for $300 and it originally sold for $450 and my friends say its really high quality which was nice to hear.

eh, I'm not a fan of acoustics without cut aways. You can't get to the high notes unless you have really long fingers.

I have that same amp pvt.dirt, it does suck a lot. It just sounds cruddy and hard to tune to different styles of music because of it's cruddy sound.

yeah I agree. I'm in the market for a new amp, if anyone has suggestions they would be much appreciated.

I play several things, but am most proficient on bass guitar (playing for about 9yrs. now).
Guitar-wise, right now I just have my Fender Telecaster and Fender Affinity P-Bass Deluxe. They're a good set together. They're the special editions with the black headstocks and chrome pickguards (that I've since painted red).
I'll have to post pics.
Advice: Take lessons. The guitar's a fairly complicated instrument to play, it's best to learn the basics and build up.

In my pictures for the "Post Your Gaming Setup" thread, you can see my old strat, but I don't use it anymore. I got a nicer one now. It is an Epiphone Les Paul Zakk Wylde Custom. I played the Gibson one at the shop that costs $8,000 and mine sounds the same for one tenth the price, although I bought it on eBay for $450. My camera doesn't work right now, so I can't get pictures. You are gonna have to deal with stock photos.

NICE MAN! Zakk is insane, although I think Randy Rhoads is better, Zakk is still insane. Awesome guitar though.
I was wrong on the amp, My amp is actually a 15R Frontman, not 25R, but overdrive is very useful...at least until I get a distortion pedal, thanks M0B.
Right now I'm working on scales mainly, and will probably start working with chords tomorrow. I'm getting lessons once I come back from Hawaii in about 13 days, which I'm looking forward to, also probably buying a tuner and metronome when I get back. At the end of the summer I'll have $150, the tuner and metronome may be around $30-$50 which will leave me with enough for a good distortion pedal. (Once I'm ready for it though)

Fender is where it's at, I love mine. If there were a fire in here, I'd grab my guitars and head for the door. Nevermind the cat, I need my guitars.
Anyway, do any of you do any recording? I just started using Cakewalk's Sonar 6 Producer Edition and I'm looking for some assistance with popping noises I get in my playback.
