I do accept and agree that people need to die, but I'm simply saying that killing is wrong.

What's more absurd than what happened with this kid, is that one of you used 9/11 as an argument point. Bad form.

Yes, this kid's likely a result of poor parenting, bad environment (Philly, those names, I'm guessing African-American), and our media-centric culture.

As someone else said, I'd agree that the stabbing was likely a result of the scuffle. A poor decision in a heated moment.

In my opinion...
Killing is killing, regardless of motive. The destruction of life is wrong. It's a question of ethics and morals, but I think we all agree it's forgivable in certain situations; In self-defense, punishment for murder, rapists and child molesters, and for eating my last oatmeal cream-pie

Lansdowns is accually a pretty nice area. Nearly all the houses are well kept. This is simply an act of bad parenting and can happen anywhere.

No, that's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is that I've spent more than my share of time in Philadelphia. Unless you have a lot of money, chances are you're living in lower income housing, and those areas are rife with drugs, violence and crime.

*:I am not saying that everyone that lives in low income housing are criminals, that the upper class are incapable of murder, or that only African-Americans commit violent crimes.
