469,000 total murders through 2005

I'm going to "guess" around 92,000 people are murdered every year because thats around the average... and we are half way through 2007

So an additional 138,000 murders

607,000 total murders since 2001 9/11

48,000/607,000 = 0.079

7.9% of murders are from illegal immies... even though thats 7.9% too much, its still a smaller number than to say half the murders since 9/11 have been from illegal immies.

Death where did you get those stats from? and how come mine are different ?

Yes we know that Americans die from causes other than being murdered by illegal immigrants and yes we know that murder is a type of death. We've understood that point since the beginning. All that we are saying is that it's not very objective to compare the ratio of people killed by illegal immigrants to others who have died from various other causes. We're not putting a magnifying glass over the subject and getting in an uproar over the situation. We can see things going on outside the scope of of this discussion. We're just saying that if you're going to make a comparison then compare it to all other murders. It's not an accurate representation when you compare murders to people that died choking on a ham sandwich (RIP Mamma Cass) and other things. We've understood her point but now I hope this clarifies ours. I do agree, Swiss, that there are far more pressing matters of urgency than focusing on a single sub issue like murders by illegal immigrants.

They come here and take out money, our jobs, and avoid taxs and our system. If they want to come here they do what everyone else should do and if they are immigrants they should receive NOTHING no ****in help what so ever. Social security, welfare, unemployment **** em they don't get any of that. They will just abuse it.

Not all of them are bad but most are.

If anyone has ever seen American History X great ****in movie by the way they would see things differently. Yes, that movie is a tad extreme but none the less for every good immigrant there are 10x more bad ones.

No **** murder victims are dead. You're insulting us by stating that and then assuming we do not know that. We know far more Americans die from other causes (murders or not) than illegal immigrants. Get that through your head.

However, the nearly 50,000 deaths are preventable. Passing due to old age is not. You'll probably argue that it could be, anyway.

We even outsource our own major companies and take thousands of jobs away from our own people for more profit gain, cheaper labor and bring the employment to them so they don't have to illegally cross our borders.

I realised a lot of things when I was on the plane coming back to this crap place. Other than the fact that you should never use BMI if you are taller than a dwarf, it's easier for illegal Mexicans to stay in the US than it is for legal Brits to stay there. That may come as good news to some of you and some may think that the way it should be, but to me it's retarded.

That video just proved how immigration affects so many people without them even realising it. Those 48,000 could have been those people who say, "meh, who cares if people jump the border?". I am not saying they deserved it, but people should think more about who they are letting in, and more about who they are keeping out.

I just can't believe the borders are as easy to "jump" as they are over there when it's quite clear they need to be tightened. I for one agree with a huge wall/fence at the US/Mexico border even though I don't live there anymore. But then I suppose you guys will get into a "war", ask England for help with it, but then not let us stay in your country. There, I said it, now have fun flaming.
