The iPhone... Do you have it? Do you care?

The iPhone is like the PS3. It was hyped up like nothing else, everyone wanted one, and then when it was released it was nothing like what people expected.

I like how the iPhone looks and I was tempted at one point, but hearing about the bad Internet, the bad usability, the fact you have to get iTunes, etc, just made me stay away.

The price tag is beyond my reasoning also, you may as well buy a cheap PDA and a cheap phone, for under half the price of this piece of crap. Sure its better to have the least things in your pocket as possible, but I would rather save $350+ buying them separate than having something that just looks good.

People are also having problems activating the iPhone, the people over on the feed blog said they had theirs for over 22 hours and they still cant activate it!

If Sony released even half the stuff they promised for the PSP (Phone, GPS, etc) then the iPhone would be obsolete before it was even made.

I seem to have a job son, when you're 17 and make 400 a week, you can have pretty much anything you want.

, I'm 19 and make $1,000 every two weeks and I can't have everything I want (amazingly enough). I would simply like to see a picture of you with the phone. That's all. It shouldn't take you more than a few seconds.

What do you do where you can be that young and still make that much money? I am just wondering because the only job I ever had making that much money was construction($500/week), and I had to quit because I did not have anytime to do anything else, working 12 hours a day.

Anyways, back on topic.

I wanted one but when I seen the price tag and the realized it did not have a separate keyboard I did not want it anymore.

My father owns a body shop and I work for him 40 hours a week. I am employed through the company and not through my dad, so no special treatment.

kinda irrelevant, but i heard on the radio that at a store that was selling them, people were lined up, ect. that a news program came up and started reporting on the Iphone, like interviewing people ect. but a guy came out of nowhere and grabbed the mic and ran off with it. the people of the radio station were like "how come u didnt take the Iphone?" they even played the audio tape. once the guy stole the mic he ran off and got tackled by the camera man. i thought it was funny.

I heard about that too, I am sure it was a CCN reporter but could be wrong.

I was listening to a radio station down here and they had a guy down at a shopping centre just outside of Orlando on a cell phone. He said there were about 250 people waiting in line, so the show host got the guy to shout "there's only 100 iPhones available".

He did shout it but said people just gave him a blank stare.

Sounded like all the Mac OSX fan-boys were down there also (expected), he went over to one and said "like your X-Files shirt" and the guy said, "its an OS 10 shirt! Common mistake though".

Some people make me worried about our society.

is it possible to get JUST a cellphone anymore? i seen exactly one in the last year, but it was a prepaid p.o.s. at like walmart or someplace.

i miss my old samsung. no camera, mp3 player, internet, dead hooker storage, or real pda capabilities, but that bad mofo could make and recieve a call like nobodies buisness!
