That's funny. Clearly this guy lost his job assuming this video was shown to those with the power to do something about it. Deserving of it's own thread though? I don't think so, but hey...it's something to talk about.

I don't see anything wrong with what the cop did. The suspects tried to run and he use the force he though was necessary to obtain them. He did not hit the girl, she ran he grabbed her, she fought back, he tried to obtain her.

The cop will make some ******** up. They will probably end up getting a ticket.

As a skateboarder, I would have to say it this way. The kids weren't doing anything but riding down the street to go somewhere. I watched the videos again, I gotta say, I didn't see anything worth skating. Think of it this way, If the city doesn't have a skatepark, then the city IS the skatepark. Also, the kid that said he wasn't running, and the cop came back and practically tackled the kid that was standing there. I thought that **** was messed up. If that was me holding the camera, and the cop tried to take it (I have a $800 camera for skating) I wouldn't let him touch it, I don't care. I'd stab that guy in the nuts if he tried to take it from me. I'll tell you, though, I have gotten arrested for skating before. It sucks, they hold you for 3 hours while they go wank it a few times, then let you go. It's the same thing over and over again.

The cop won't get fired for this, just some anger management classes.

Sorry for the little rant, the whole skater stereotype pisses me off.

Clearly one of those tough guy ex-high school wrestler cops. I've encountered my fair share of these *** holes and the best thing to do is sit there quiet and not move and listen to what he says or kill him.

exactly. thats what shocks me. they were using their skateboards to get somewhere. its like getting pulled over in your car and getting choked by some neck-less roid monkey cop.

If a cop tells you to stop doing it, you stop doing it. You don't just start skating again right in front of him. Kids ran, all of them started walking towards the cop, some retaliation. But if they would of listened to the cop in the first place, this would of never happened. Just a bunch of punk kids thinking they run ****. Did the cop go a little overboard? Maybe, but the kids deserved it.

Also, the cop got suspended with FULL PAY.
