I think we do need something more though. Jim Zorn said that he wants to run a 3 receiver set on most plays. In reality, we have 2 good wideouts in Randle El and Santana Moss. Last year Lloyd did absolutely nothing... Keenan McCardell is getting up there and doesn't have the explosion off the line that he used to have, Reche has the speed but I guess I don't really trust him. If anything I'd say atleast look at Randy Moss if he leaves New England or maybe even Chad.. I agree with you though that there are other things that we could do with that money that would probably be better in the long run for the franchise.

Welcome to the wonderful world of being a 49er fan during the seasons he spent on their roster... he has lots of potential, it's just a shame that he doesn't do anything with it.

I think this would be a good move for both the Cowboys and the Dolphins. You know the Cowboys are taking McFadden #1 if they get this deal done, the Dolphins don't need him as much as they need other building blocks.

I actually think that this move could hurt the Boys. They'd be giving up a guy that has proven himself to be an elite running back, for a rookie who had an excellent college career, but could be a bust in the NFL (see Reggie B.)

The Panthers also signed Muhsin Muhammad, which according to the article, should help Steve Smith in the long run as far as reducing the amount of double coverage he has.

I definitely agree with you here. I always wondered why the Cowboys just didn't start Barber every game instead of Jones. Eventually they got the hint that Barber is the more explosive back, but to trade him away would be foolish in my opinion. If Barber was the full time starter, he would put up huge numbers. That's pretty scary to think about considering he put up big numbers while sharing the back field with Jones most of last year.

I think that Barber should stay with the Cowboys, in the best interest for the Cowboys. That guy is just a great running back. He was almost impossible to stop in the first two quarters of the Giants/Cowboys Playoff game.
