I hope he signs a ball hawk (what the Radio channels have been saying) to back up Roy. Roy is a much better blitzer than a pass defender.
In the first game of the season, Roy gave a rib shot to Byron Leftwich of the Jags. Maybe I can find a video to it.
YouTube - Roy Williams
Roy Williams highlights.
That one interception at the very end against McNabb was one of the Cowboys' greatest ever comeback victories last year. He picked off two passes in a row for touchdowns when we were down 7-20, we won 21-20. So awesome.
I'm surprised they didn't show his horse collar against T.O. when he snapped his leg. But it does show him knock out T.O. when he was a 49er.

I will put money on it he will be gone before the Panthers pick, The Bills need him badly.
Also as for Wade going to Dallas, Nice pick up, Wade is a good coach he worked wonders here in Buffalo after the Kelly, Smith, Reed, Levy era, He just got screwed with Ralph being cheap and not signing a decent QB.

Personally, I would take Roy Williams over Troy Polamalu. I think Roy Williams' presence has more of an effect on the opposing team than Polamalu's.
For the offseason, the Giants need to get healthy on defense, and they need to situate the running back position. I don't think Brandon Jacobs is going to get it done for them in the open field. He is a beast on the goal line, but he lacks the speed and agility needed to run between the redzones.

I'd say that their presence is about equal. I watch both teams games and the Steelers opposing team doesn't attack the side of the field as Polamalu's on as much as people do with Roy.
Troy can disguise his coverage so well, and I don't see that as much with Roy. Like if Roy is blitzing, he makes it too noticable, but with Troy, you don't really know what he's doing, one second he'll be 20 yards off of the LOS, but when the ball is snapped, he's right in the backfield making the big play. And I'm not just saying this because I'm a Steelers fan, but I honestly do think Troy is just as good, and if not better than Roy. If they were on the same team, that'd be one hell of a Saftey tandum.

Simply put, Charlie Frye isn't cutting it. So what better way to give an offense a boost than to bring in a young, outstanding talent as Quinn.

I don't think they'll take a QB. Frye is like a young Brett Farve, he scrambles, throws missiles, will mainly throw a catchable ball, and will on the downside throw many INTs. Quinn is a great QB but I think everyone will be better off if he goes to another team. I say they'll go with Peterson or Johnson as Reuben is not an every down back and Northcutt is injured way too much.

Browns might pick him up. Their DTs and LBs are decent but their Ends and DBs are horrible so he could be a good addition.

Let me tell you all what I think about the Lions' first round draft pick. There's no way that Marinelli is picking up an offesnsive player for the FIRST pick. The Lions' D-Line has been turned to **** because of Shaun Rogers being gone. I seriously doubt that Rogers will be allowed back, especially since Marinelli already replaced him with Kalimba Edwards. Even with that, we are definitly missing a presence in the middle of the D-Line. Edwards is going to need something to support him, other than Cody. Cody is good but, he's not as good as he needs to be.
I say the Lions will pick up either a D-Linemen, or another defensive back. I don't know what position they really need on offense, except maybe another WR that actually has good hands. I could see some possible O-Linemen during the later rounds of the the draft. When the O-Line for the Lions aren't causing penalties, they are doing pretty good.
We had a few rookies this year on the line that had some problems with false starts and whatnot... BUT, when they were clicking the offense did great. Rex Tucker has had a whole year to get used to the NFL. He should do much better this year with the penalties. Jeff Backus still needs a little help with him being too jumpy. It's only a few kinks that need to be worked out. I'd much rather have an experienced O-Line than one that's fresh out of college.

Marty Shotenheimer Fired
Just found out when I was watching Sportscenter this morning. Chris Mortneson believes it's because there was an ongoing rift between GM AJ Smith and Marty.

It's a shame that a Team with all that potential to take it all the way, got its coaching staff completely dismantled.

I wonder if the chargers will be able to be a playoff caliber team now after losing Marty and their Def. cord. Arrington also got releast from the Giants along with 3 other players.
