Personally, being a 49er fan, I think it was slightly overpaying for a CB that had one breakout season a year or two ago. I'm not in charge of their bookkeeping, so it doesn't matter to me. Coach Nolan must see something in the guy, seeing as how he was the mastermind of the Baltimore Ravens' defensive scheme a few seasons ago.

I would have rather seen the 49ers go after Joey Porter the second I heard on the radio that he was released last week... Joey Porter is an animal out on the football field.

Oh trust me I know he got overpaid. But you have to look at the NFL as a business and the Market being FA's, Demand is greater then Supply this year and when that happens prices go up, And because of all these teams having alot of cap space just about every player will be overpaid because of the competition in trying to get them. It's simple economics.

Ahman Green signed with the Texans today, receiving a 4 year, $23 million dollar deal. Great move for the Texans since the running back position has always been a big question mark for them since the ycame into the league.

I just read that the Giants are interested in signing Dominic Rhodes. If they do pull through and sign him, it would be a huge plus for them since I don't think Brandon Jacobs can handle the load of being an every down back.

Hell No...That's why all last season Tiki would get it down the field and they would give it to Jacobs to score. Not to mention the RB Tandem is the New trend.

Personally, I think the Giants could have done without giving Jacobs the ball at the goal line. That's the reason Tiki had so few scores last year, when he is quite capable of running it in on the goal line himself. He obvioulsly proved through the years that his fumble problem was no longer an issue. Whatever, what is done is done, I owuld like to see Rhodes as a full time back though, he sure showed great potential in the Super Bowl.

Travis** Henry agrees to deal with Denver. I think that's a good pick up for them, Bell to take it down the field, Henry to pound it in.

That would be a good pick up. Finally the Giants try to make some moves. I think they should try to pick up a WR also, being that Amani Toomer is getting old.

The ****ing Bears are the stupidest franchise in sports. Why would they trade Thomas Jones, the ****ing pisses me the **** off. They more dumb than the Cubs. I hate being a Chicago fan.

LOL! Thats good for any New York Jets fan. They needed a permanent running back after Curtis martin injury.

The Giants might be the dumbest franchise. The Giants cut LaVar Arrington and Carlos Emmons. Why not trade them and try to pick someone up? They better go for Joey Porter now.

They also cut Luke Petitgout. Still haven't resigned the kicker. They cut Chad Morton cut but I can understand that he tore his ACL and he was aging.
