new idea for the game

i haven't been on here since May, so someone might've come up with this, but i was thinking about the attachments, and there was an argument to how many you should be able to use. while thinking of that, i think i came up with a pretty good idea.

In single player mode, you start out with one gun. based your your score (A,B,C...) you get a number of points, or money. with this money, you will then have to buy your own stuff from then on. you can buy your own guns, attachments, grenades... whatever. but, it should be very hard to get a lot of money, this way, you'll usually only have one good gun. then for online play, you should only be able to use your own gun, but of course you could still swipe other players' guns. so, if you want to be a real sniper, you're going to have to put out all your money on a good sniper rifle and a good pistol. if you want to be a support man, maybe grab an MK.48. want to go rambo you'll have to buy an F90. maybe you might even have to buy your own ammo, just so you can't spray and pray all day. i think this idea will make the game a lot more challenging and loads more fun.

i know there are some holes in this idea, but let me know what you think. its just an idea.

In Fireteam Bravo 2 you can earn weapons much in the manner you suggest.

I love the idea of unlockable and earnable items and upgrades. Personally, I'd enjoy spending hours to complete a bonus objective in order to get some snazzy add-on. However, it'd need to be done in a manner where people with cheat devices couldn't easily unlock them, because it was more than aggrivating on S3's launch day when there were tons of peeps with everything unlocked.

I think in the next-gen world of Downloadable Content and Purchaseable Content, we'll see a lot more upgrades to games.

In all fairness some of those people that had everything are maniacs like me that just had to beat the whole thing before we could really enjoy online,...lol
