I'd like to make a motion to merge the "Adventure" into "Action & Shooter" to form "Shooter/Action/Adventure Games" for the Xbox 360 sections.
Most Adventure genres put "Action - Adventure" as the genre anyway. Also, we can take the "Puzzle" and add "Live Arcade" to its description to form "Puzzle & Live Arcade Games". It is just an idea to float around. I believe it would help to spark some thread creation. Not enough posters in those sections to divide the gaming genres so finely as we previously thought.
I know this setup was the final one we agreed on after we drew up the plans and what not. I know they were fine tuned for the best layout possible. But I think if we adjust the setup for a couple weeks prior to the holiday season we may get more discussion into those sections. There is just not enough Adventure and Puzzle discussion for these consoles.
Might not be too bad an idea to scrap the "Puzzle" for PS3 sections and move Adventure into "Action & Shooter" as well. I don't recall any puzzle games at all. If there are one or two, they can be classified as adventure.
This would obviously be a temporary change until the post count starts to bolster in said sections.
