Rock vs. Rap

No flaming in this thread!!! u must read before posting in here. if u dont ur post is worthless.

rock is the best. rap is too fake. the sad thing is a lot of people like rap, so that gives me something that not a lot of other ppl like. witch is good.

rock goes off into many branches its like a tree

hardcore
speed metal
thrash
metalcore
metal
doom metal
stoner metal
emo
screamo
death metal
rock
heavy metal
punk
ska

and rock branches are easy to identify.

new rap and most old rap has no branches and no universality.

witch means an 11 year old rich white kid cannot realate to getting shot 9 times and growing up in the slums.

rap breaks off into about 3 genres.

RnB
hardcore rap
and pop rap

tupac and B.I.G. are probly the only real rappers.

rap is dead.

rap is only about cars and fame and bad childhoods and having beef with people.

rock is about real life experiences and emotions.

real stuff.

all rap is is talking over a drum machine. no real talent.

rock is working hard to learn guitar/piano/drum/bass/vocal.

if u refer to metal or anything of that nature, your probly thinkink eww screaming. thats nothing.

its a talent and they are using it.

a bunch of rap aholics are gonna come in this thread, and start beef, defend rap, etc.

I HATE cRAP as much as the next guy, but this thread has been done in soo many forms of hatred and flaming. This is just another that will be locked soon, but before that happens, rap is bad, but this is going to go no where.

Rock > Rap.

They both kinda suck, but rock is better. I don't really care about a song that's three minutes of rhyming about drugs, cars, and the hood...

This has been done over and over and over again. This is ****ing rediculous. And for whatever reason the mods won't close these threads.

Please, close this thread now. You mods probably won't do it no matter how much we beg, but I'm just putting the idea out there. Close it now.

Oh and for the record, most of those genres of rock are just mixed versions of hardcore and metal and other types of rock and music. Things like metalcore and scremo are NOT genres of music you jackass!

I was thinking about leaving this one open, but seeing that he posted a multitude of different colors. I had to close it because shear unpleasantness of layout. Also the topic has been posted many times.

Yeah rap is not about real life experiences thats what most of it is about. Rock is about real stuff but most is just like rap, fanticies, drugs, girls etc.

You are and ASSHAT. This is why this thread is closed because of idiots like you. You post no flames but thats what your entire post was.

I'm not saying all rap is great but I am certainly not saying that rock is superior. Both are good in my eyes but morons like you try to fight a one sided arguement. You listen to one rap song and say o thats just some ***** singing about crack and ****ing girls. I could say the same about some rock band that you love.

There is no need for another one of these topics because they all end of in flame fests. Everyone has there own opinions and on a topic like this they are only going to smash into others.
