Removing only one weapon is stupid.

Someone in favor of the terroist side will remove good SEAL weapons and vise versa.

Having the ability to ban only one weapon and not a group is a good thing AND a bad thing. I honestly think more good would come out then bad, but there would always be those rooms where some dork locks the M4, IW, HK, and MK for the SEALs and only locks the F90 for the Terrorists. But if this became a reality and if a room like that came up, just leave.

A more realistic First Person view. You can see you gun and the hands that hold it. Also, you can see all that a real person could see(chest, arms, hip, and legs.) More realistic grenades(less bouncy, bigger blast radius, and frags get shrapnel.)

Exclamation Addons to wish-lish

1. larger, more stragical and tacticall based maps. 2. qu. thaick assualt choper (no hmg or weap.) preferibly 2 per terriost and seals. 3 removement of f90 (p90) and mk48 4. returns to the classic s2 weps that floyd clearly stated. 5. balence between spawn points and vehicles.

How about a train convoy check it out!

I just played a Blackwoods Demo for the first time in a long time and after I saw the train I thought of a different type of convoy.

Heres my Idea. I thought that the Terrorists have to protect a freight train moving through the map at a slow speed. The Terrorists can win by having the train safely extracted or by having the Seals eliminated.

The Seals can win by going into the train and planting 5 C4's on a selected crate in one of the 5 cars, by eliminating the Terrorists, or by moving the train by turning the switches that are along the track to Seal Spawn 1 and cannot turn around.

The boxes are placed randomly in different cars each round so that a different plan must be taken to breach the train. So for example the crate is in the second car for one round, but in the next round they are in the fifth car.

For the second way for the Seals to work the Seals can select 2 spawns in order to get a switch in order to turn it into a more Seal oriented area. But at the same time the Terrorists have the same option, but they can turn it into a more Terrorist oriented area. The Seals must get both switches in order to win.

AT-4's, M2's and, any M203's do not blow up the train!

Better variety of guns, realistic gameplay(can anyone run with a rocket launcher and shoot it accurately?), minimum glitches.

I know this wouldnt be realistic but having every bullet go where the crosshairs point to, it would eliminate the spray and pray tactics used by 75% of the socom world and only the true aimers would do good.

It would be cool if you could create your own gun, like make it a sniper, shotgun, etc n stuff like that. Idk jus make the game more fun

But Zipper cant make a good game because of the complaints. People complained about how Socom 2 wasnt realistic at all, now people complain about Socom 3 being more realistic. They dont know how to please everyone, so who really cares about whats in the game or not, its still gonna draw complaints.

It would be pretty cool if you could upload music or choose music while playing a game(hate it when there is dead silence). More interactivity. Air strikes(like in the Brazillian city breach, Sujo I think). The option to mute players(that way, if someone is really annoying, you don't have to switch channels). Animals would be funny and cool(shoot up a cow or camel, also in jungles or grassland, birds would fly away if you got too close, giving away your position). The ability to actually dive deeper than 2 inches. More realistic water(Only low powered weapons{pistols, shotguns, and submachine guns, because assault rifles, machine guns, and sniper rifles go too fast, and actually break apart when they hit the water.} and explosives could hurt you if you dive under. Underwater demolition(this is what the SEALs were originally trained for and what they specialise in). The M82A1A and the M87ELR should be able to kill two people if they are positioned correctly. Shotgun slugs, M203s, GL-36s, Airbursts, and grenades should knock down doors, open them, or destroy them.

Im not sure if it was already suggested, but heres an idea.

On most militar vehicles (Tanks, Hummers, etc) they have tubes in groups of about 4, pleaced at each corner of the vehicle. These tubes can fire smoke which then surrounds the vehicle so the people inside or the vehicle can make a safe getaway.

I think it would be cool to just press a button and smoke nades fire all over the place and suddenly your entire surroundings are just a cloud.

Once again, sorry if it has already been mentioned, but I am not going to read 10 pages of ideas. ;-)

With all the complaints about 'prone' sniping being to easy, I'd like to see a wind system be implemented. Snipers need to be able to take into account how much a wind will throw your shot, so say its a 10 MPH wind coming from the west and you're shooting somebody 120 M away with a M87...you should aim about half inch to the left to take into account the push from the wind. They worked it into games such as Delta Force very well, and there you had to really know your weapon and how it is affected and just couldn't pick up a SR-25 and snipe everybody even though you've never used one.

Also, since when do bullets just disappear off the face of the Earth? Yes, guns should be effected by range. But what I think would be cool is instead of having the bullet just disappear, or the effectiveness drop, to actually have the bullet gradually drop. It could be very subtle, say again same situation as before...on top of aiming to the left, you should aim a bit over to take into account the dropoff of the bullet.

I think it would really limit the campers that have no skill in sniping and do it just because its so easy. I did a quick search through this thread and didn't see anything with it, but sorry if it has been brought up before.

What difference is half an inch going to make if the guys body is 2 square feet? Anyway, I don't think the game needs to be realistic, to be fun. Kinda like Mario games: Obviosly, a toad can't drive a car or do anything like that. But that doesn't mean the game can't be fun.
