New kind of Server Error?

I was bouncing back between my stats and my mailbox when i got a server error

Only it wasn't 9' or 36 or any of the other ones ive seen mentioned but it was an L2 server error and my game froze and i had to reconnect ten times before i finally got back on then the socom community wasn't available anyone else see this?

It's not new. It's been posted about quite a few times.

The only time I get it is when my router locks up and I have to reset it which isn't very often.

I hadn't seen it until yesterday and im hooked directly up to a modem, so i wasn't sure what happened considering the L2 is a button from the control pad and my controller seems to be messing up lately, I wasn't sure

My clan mate had this happen to him but it only happened once and never again? So i dont really no what to do.

It isn't actually talking about your "L2" button. It is just the name of the error. I get it alot when I have multiple PS2s online. It sends the wrong Ip info to the wrong console and locks up. I simply cycle my modem then router and I'm good to go.

The L2 server error is no way even remotely in relation to your controller. It is a button on the controller you are correct about that but its just has the same name, its just an error somewhere in the system. It is a very mysterious error and has been mentioned many times on this site and no one can really find the 100% reason why or what it is.

You error codes I believe are also mentioned somewhere on here, just use the search feature or something and maybe you will find something. I dont know what it is simply because I have only had server error L2 once and other than that I never really have errors apart from freeze ups every now and then, sorry for not been any help.

I usually get it once a day then i sign back on and its fine. Ive always thought it was just a server error.
