I got one better...

Get a piece of toast.

Get a spoon.

Carve a pic of that runaway bride lady in it with the spoon.

Sell it on ebay.

Someone did this, and it sold for $5,000. I **** you not.

You can sell anything on eBay, and ATTEMPT to make a lot of money. The key is, if you have something that is only worth $1 or so, you need to make up a unique story about it. Then sometimes people might get a chuckle out of that, thus drving the price up. I have seen this happen with gummy bears, and other things.

But I don't think that it is going to bring you in $1,000+ every time....

Thats what sells these items that you can buy for 50 cents or a dollaranywhere else. The more creative and humorous the story, the more bids and higher price usually! I enjoy laughing at the person that has to pay 5$0 for a group of gunny bears.
