Confirmed Combined Assault for PS2

S1 and S2 were very alike to one another so this game will be the same a S2 was to the first game... now that zipper have very accurate feedback from players of S3 they can make the game S3 should have been... I mean, the gameplay is as good as I hoped but the glitches are far too numerous for me to even bother trying to cope with sometimes

On the whole Socom 3 owners playing in the same game as Socom Combined Assault players...

From the screenshots, and especially those at IGN, the graphics are undeniably improved. Even if just slightly.

I wonder, will Socom 3 maps look better to Socom Combined Assault players, than they will to Socom 3 players?

This is a rhetorical, thought and discussion provoking question. I expect no one to have a confirmable response to this.

Your not saying that SOCOM:CA players online will be able to play with SOCOM 3 players online? Because I thought I read somewhere that there will be no linking of the two servers even though CA will include SOCOM 3 maps.

you will be able to play with socom 3 players, its the same interface,friends list, message boards, basically what the guy from zipper said in the video is that socom 3 is on the same disk as CA

I would much rather a separate server/a completely separate game from SOCOM 3. After playing some of the new maps, with the new weapons, vehicles, etc..., and then hoping onto a old map from SOCOM 3 with weapon restrictions (SOCOM 3 weapons, not CA), it will not feel the same. But I guess since this is not SOCOM 4, we have to just take what is given to us.

There are going to be new snow maps. Look at the first page of this thread first picture. Thats a snow map.
