Controller Settings

I'm having a problem finding some good controller settings. It seems it's either to fast, or to slow. What's a good setting?

You just have to find one that works for you. Different people have different settings some have it slow some people have it maxed. When i first started playing s3 i had mine on default, i moved my speed and acceleration up a lil at a time. Now my speed is and accel are both 99 and my deadzone is at like 25 or default. Best advice i can give you is just play some respawn, mess around with it some your bound to find one you like at some point. There are no perfect settings just a matter of opinion. Use the search button also theres lots of other topics about this subject.

gently increase your look speed as you get better...you will know when you are ready for a faster look speed. As i think that look speed is the most important one, i wouldnt worry about the other settings unless you quick snipe.

i know this sounds crazy but i have my controler settins all the way to the right. everything maxed out. even the deadzone. not sure why the deadzone doesn't screw my stuff up but it doesnt. but at least, have everything to the right besides deadzone. and make ur controler buttons as FrogMan setting. and ur set.

If you try something and it is too fast, then you try something too slow, why not try something in the middle. (Tough concept, I know)

No one can tell you the best settings. Its all opinion based on the style of your game play.

someone already stated this but play with the settings on a respawn map. It's the only way to dial in your settings.

ok so i quick snipe but i can run n gun and do it all but i want my look speed turned up cuz im on defult and im tired of people comeing up behind me and getting me what would help me out most and what do i need to not touch so i can still quick snipe also explain to me whats dead zone and what does and the other settings do explain those

There really is godly settings though. Like, the perfect set up. But its different for everyone. I was changing them all around and just could not deal with the suckyness. I eventualy set it to something like 75 65 50 and FOR ME, it worked. Most people like the 100 100 50 thing. But i seriously played twice as good once i found my god settings. i was amazed.

Honestly, the most important setting is the "deadzone" setting. This is really what controls the "feel" of any given setting. I personally have my lookspeed and acceleration at only about 25 and 30 respectively, but it still moves as fast, if not, faster than people that have their settings at 100, 100, 50. This is because my deadzone is very low too. It is only at about 35.

My suggestion for you, Intensity, is to count from the left 25 clicks on your lookspeed and acceleration and make your deadzone about 40, and go back from there untill you find the "feel" that is right for you.
