Silent Hill Movie

Whats up fellas, I went to go see the Silent Hill movie lastnight and it was pretty cool. To me anyway. SPOILER ALERT If you have not seen it do not further read. I thought it basically stuck to the main principle of the game. Many elements were from SH4 and SH1. The original parent with a lost child was Harry Mason from SH1. But anyway, I thought it was pretty twisted to my likings. The end was a little sick, but none the less great visuals. I liked the "Patients" with their skin straight jacketss, like in the game. The nurses were pretty accurate as of the twitching and the lead pipes. The Pyramid Head didnt play a big enough role I thought, but he is still the sh*t. Especially the church steps scene. Gruesome. I give it- 8 out of 10

I didn't read any further than "I thought it basically stuck to the main principle of the game" but I at least figured that out from the commercials alone. You can see a lot of the actual game just from the previes so I figured it was just a cinema version of a really good game.

As for me, I am going to go see it at 1030 tonight so I'll have my opinion on it then.

I heard it is one of those movies that either you hate it or you love it. I hear many mixed reviews of it. Mabie if you were really into the game you would love the movie.

I love every movie and I really want to see this. It actually looks like a really good movie based ona video game, there isnt much of those around :p.

Saw Silent Hill last night, and I must say, it was a pretty good movie. It held a lot of the feeling you get in the video game in the movie.

Personally, I think the worst part was when it starting getting to the end of the movie and everything just starting turning into a witch hunt because nothing was scary anymore, just suspense, but it was still a fun movie to watch. The ending kind of sucked but I saw it coming. I just don't understand how they got into that Silent Hill and how everyone else was in normal Silent Hill.

I want to go play the game again now for two reasons. 1) Because the movie motivated me to want to. 2) Because I want to figure out how they got there.

I saw it last night, and overall it was a pretty good. The first hour so was better then second half by far. I wasn't a big fan of the whole witch hunt thing; just seemed like they were trying to put a little more sophistication into the story with it. I don't really need to get into detail until more people see it. But yeah, go see it.

Saw it last night, and I enjoyed it. I never played any of the games, so I had no clue what to expect or something should have happened a certain way. Ending was gory/bloody, but also kind of cool. Ending also confused me, pretty much what The mOBSCENE said..

It's alright. The ending was cool and easily led you into believing there will be a sequel. The coolest part of the damn movie was the Pyramid guy. Damn, and that cop chick played a bigger role then she did in the game as I can remember. Overall a good movie, wouldn't mind seeing it again.

psh if you thought it was good the first time you should see it when your high! but then again everything is better when your high.

anyways i saw it when it first came out, i learned not to expect too much form movies based on a video game *cough*resident evil*cough * but Silent Hill was pretty damm good. it sayed faithful to the game but it also had it own "feeling" my only complaint is the envirnment and monsters felt too.... un real? you could easly tell they were computer generated but seeing as modern techology isnt THAT realistic i can let it slide. other then that good movie!

Resident Evil was f'n awesome! You must be high for thinking it sucked. But thats my opinion so it doesn't really matter what you think. Silent Hill was f'n awesome too. Like Mob, it definitely made me want to replay the games again.(Well except Silent Hill 4: The Room, that blew really hard) The movie had me thinking so many times," Hey I jumped from building to building in the game also." or " Wow, I remember when Harry walked down that alley the same way she did." The movie was the ****!!
