Socom 3 out in Europe Tomorrow, so whats it like????

Ok, socom 3 is finally about to be released in Europe tomorrow. So what can i except from the online gaming. Is it worse or better than socom 2 and in what ways?

I'm sure you read all the posts in this forum so you should already have a good idea about SC3 online. Me, i luv the game.

All of the maps are a lot larger than S2. And the weapon addons make firefights a whole new game. My advice is to beat the hell out of the single player til you unlock all the unlockables before getting too deep into the online aspects, this way you get the front grip and ghillies so that when you need them, you got 'em. And to check out the guide section on here, some really good stuff in there.

I know you guys have been waiting a long time. But Trust me youll love this game and the new modes. Just keep practicing with different weapons ,attachments and tactics and you will become addicted all over again.

I remember some times in S1+2 it got down to a bunch of people looking for once guy hiding in the map. With huge maps, does this ever become a problem?

Don't buy it. In a couple of months you will put the game down and find better things to do.. trust me.

Also, if you do decide to buy it... make sure not to ever play EXTRACTION or ESCORT because the AI in this game is about 100x more retarded than in socom 2.

...oh yeah by the way... the maps arent as big as you think. you get used to them and it gets really boring.

What you can expect:
-Mics that work 2/3 of the time.
-The F90 to be a beast of a gun.
-Lots of sniping.
-Lots of noobs laying in bushes wearing ghillie suits.
-Lots of camping.
-Less glitching than Socom 2.
-Terrorist ghillie suits that turn invisible (ala Predator).

What is better:
-Weapon customization.
-Weight system.
-Overall less lag.
-Overall better hit detection.
-All new maps, with cool modes and size settings.
-Vehicles.
-The rule for a 'draw' has been made better.

What is worse:
-The amount camping/sniping.
-Some games take real long due to map size/camping.
-You'll love to hate the F90.
-Ghillie suits.

Socom 3 is better than Socom 2 by a longshot. It's the people that make the game suck, not the game itself.

Yea its an even bigger problem now bcuz the maps are so big. They could hide with a ghille suit anywhere and it take you forever to find em. Luckily if ure team outnumbers their team they lose. But it sucks bcuz the team with the most ppl with a min on the clock will just camp.

Suggestion play objective based maps like convoy, demoliton or control points to make those campers move towards the objective area.
