Whats the 'big rats nest' one called??? might avoid it for a while. I played one game on it, and didnt really know about the weight slowing you down etc, I had m8ler with the thermal etc, and a rocket launcher. I ran like a tortoise, took me so long just to go a small distance

I don't really know what all is involved with the release of Socom Online to our friends across the pond. Does anyone think that they are delaying the map packs release until SOCOM online was released in Europe. Stupid, Maybe....
But I was wondering if it might have something to with it..............

Was the Socom Europe version delayed from its original realease date at all ???

Does socom 3 do a better job of balancing the weapons for both sides?

In my opinion the WORST things to happen to S3 is...moving crosshairs while jumping and the SUPER DUPER WILD BULLET SPREAD at times.....!

Yeah, Loads. I think it was originally supposed to be out in January/Febuary.

Another thing I was wondering, is about the IW-80/STG-77/Airburst It says you unlock these things once beating the game on Admiral, but are they to be used online or offline? Because if it was online, it would seem really stupid to give the really good players even better weapons.

Yes, you can use all the unlockables from single-player online. It really isn't too hard to beat the game on all difficulties so you should definately go for it. I think that the most valuable thing to unlock is the front grip as it gives you so much better accuracy than the rifle laser. Good luck and happy hunting!

In a few months...maybe 5-8, you will get tired of this game and it's crappyness. Constant camping (unless eu style of play is different...), invisible people, literally...uh, let's see, camping? I don't have a problem with snipers but it's highly likely to have a whole team of snipers in a pub. EDIT- to go along w/ the camping..in s2 we know all camping spots, and they are easily naded or rushed or w/e off the bat. In s3, EVERY SQUARE INCH is a potential camping spot.

So in big maps after running through 8 million acres of desert and seeing nothing you get killed by some scrub laying down w/ an SD in the middle of nowhere or in one of the trillion of bushes in his ghille.

Lag lag lag, framerate lag. Not running in place cabling, but think of it as ice skating...but sort of skipping. They sort of "slide" (real fast) every 7 or so ft.

Hit detection imo isn't improved, it takes 2 shots with .50cals often...or you'd shoot a guy with any gun and he won't die. Or maybe it's because xhairs are the size of your bloody screen and thus every gun in s3 is like the 9mm sub accuracy wise from s2.

sigh, you'll get bored of it, give it ~half a year

Thats right, thre are many different types of special forces in England and generally GREAT Britain. As the SEALs are more like marines than anything else, I would also relate them to the Royal Marines which are obviously the British version of the US Marines Corps.

Now I live over here (US) its cool to see what is different between the Military and just things in general. Like we call chips crisps, and we call fries chips. Also the "Lays" of America are called "Walkers" in England, great aint it
