Played with A 9 year Old Girl Today
So yea, i was playing in a Tidal Fury Demo when a 9 year old girl named LuLu came in. I was just amazed to see someone this young playing, especially a girl (not saying anything about girls, just that you dont see many that young). She wasn't that great but knew the game well. Now, I'm just wondering what kind of parent gets that for their nine year old girl.
-Please dont get into the topic of which ages should play though
Im just want to know if anybody has played with a kid this young or around that age. And what you think about a nine year old playing it.

countless times. once i played with some 10 years old in Washington and it was like 3am on the West Coast. But i think if the parents of the nine years old bought the game so be. She is not my kid so i dont care how much violence is exposed to her. but somewhere deep deep inside of me i feel sorry for her and her crappy parents that dont think about her and her future.

Everyone in our room was trying to figure out why her parents bought it.
Like, maybe they are in the military?
Or, they want her to be in the military?
Or, they are test-monkeys for a lab?

i've played with a ton of 6-12 year olds in pub rooms mostly on s2 because you didnt' need a CC then to verify. It's amazing how they see like everything...mad sharp eyes. Either that or they were rich kids with hd and a widescreen tv...lol
-EDIT-
well to answer ur question Captian ugly it's probably cuz his/her father plays the game and lets their kid play.
And no...vid games don't make ppl violent...maybe egotistic but not violent (to all who think that way...)

Ok, here's my take on this whole thing It's a WTF moment with a twist of prolly someone's parents bought the game for themselves and daddy was letting his baby girl on to play OR... She was only using the headset and her dad was playing for her or something just to get a cheap laugh out of all you people
In any case that's d*nm funny (Like them TBS commercials) but not that funny go ahead and laugh ohhh but don't laugh that much
On a side note do you remember if this girl had a rank?
(Oh and playing with pre-pubescent 6 year olds have got to be the funniest effing things especially when the kid starts to swear at you for doing something stupid)

kids that young dont need to be playing a game like this... first, for the violence in the game, and most importantly, the headset talk... there is always racial, crude talk on the headsets. why expose little kids to it?

well i was 10 when socom1 came out i borrowed it from my cousin cause his ps2 broke the day it came out, fell in love with it then went to eb and bought it the next day, i didn't even need my parents, i just walked in with 70 bucks and bought it. I also got the headset with the game but i didn't have online until s2 but i still loved the thrill of single player back then.
