For the more mature of us in here....
What do you think is going to happen?
I mean..... Iran seems a bit cocky... It's a nation that hasn't even seen the light of day, and yet they want to enrich? They were taken over by Iraq less than 2 decades ago, and now they're thinking about enriching uranium?
I'm sorry, but there's more going on in the background.
How come I haven't heard India, Pakistan, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia's position on this?
There's something going on that the public's not being told... Not just SOMEthing, but many things...(like that NEVER happens?) I think that Iran's got a backer.... Someone who'll protect it, such that it'll become either an ally of Iran, or a buyer of the Uranium it enriches so that the coutnry that buys it can make nuclear weapons....... That's why it's so damn confident. They aren't worried about military action by ANYONE... Doesn't taht seem wierd? And I"m not saying they should fear the U.S., but what about the Soviets? They're RIGHT THERE, on their border! I guess we'll have to wait untill the game plays out, untill we can see who the players themselves are.
I have to say, if ever I was thinking about starting a war in the Middle East.... It'd be now....
Someone needs to get down there and **** them up, ROYALLY. But thanks to Bush, our troops are already deployed in Iraq....
Thanks a lot, you idiot.

Normal people are at work or school during this time of the day,
But on the subject, make it. We'll just dominate them in every other way.

I dont think there is a choice....or wont be soon. I dont think Iran is going to back down and will infact progress swiftly from this point. We can only hope that many other countries will stand by us on this one...or better yet, lead the crusade.
I do, however, worry that Iran may be baiting us in.
For the record I support out troops and our President....I only hope we have a better plan when we do finally go in.
It is rather convinient for us to have troops and suplies right at the front line. Some may even suggest we planned or foresaw these events
This makes even uglier:

I agree, they have given us enough hints that they're not enriching just for power plants. It's obvious beyond belief that they are planning to use nukes and/or sell them and it defies logic that the same administration that went into iraq with almost no evidence refuses to go into iran when clues are being shoved up their asses.

Hahahahahaha, I love Punx.
On topic, SuperYooper really said what I thought, it seems as though we are being baited in.

If someone is trying to or at least giving us a hint that they are trying to endanger the 300 million United States citizens. Then I say we take action with force to stop them by any means possible. I support the troops in Iraq and Bush too so hopefully before his term is over he'll make a decision on what to do.

I do not understand these extremist groups. The fact that they favor death over life is obviously a clear sign that they are all insane. I hope some other nation will lead the crusade because the US seems to be losing more and more support every day. Something obviously needs to be done...quickly.

What counts as a "hint that they are trying to endanger" anyone? Not just in this scenario, but in any... First of all, you have to understand that most of what we read has been translated - there's one step of misunderstanding possible. Secondly, a lot of things aren't said by the leaders of countries, but are portrayed as their voices by media - another great possibility of misunderstanding.
And, technically, all it takes is a single misunderstanding and we're getting "hints" that they plan to hurt us?
And on topic, they directly say that they want to use nuclear power as civilian sources of power. Where the problem with that is, I don't know. It's clean, it's somewhat efficient, and it's a pretty good idea.
Lastly, they are far from having any military grade uranium. And I personally think they should be allowed to do with their resources as they see fit. What happens when they start making bombs? We'll know; don't think we don't have intelligence over there. And perhaps (just maybe), if we let them do what they want and stop threatening them that we'll stop them, they might not dislike us so much.

DK, they say they want to use it for civilian powerplants, but how can we believe them? They are known to harbor and support/finance terrorists. I don't see how there can be a misunderstanding when the leader of Iran directly promises harm to the U.S. Same goes for North Korea - they say it's for civilian uses but would you trust them?

The media certainly isn't a reliable source. Once in a while I'll hear or read something from the media that I actually knew about beforehand, and I've never seen the media's descriptions match the truth after they're done selecting what parts to say.
