That was funny Mike. People should whine more so they would reset them, like they were whining about rank ups, and now it's fixed.

I too have the "games that count as disconnects" problem. I used to be consistently around 350-400 points. Then I created a new name, but had to stop playing with that name when I realized the games started to count towards disconnects (b/c the second name has good rank). I went back to my first name and am now at 13 points (down from 350) because they count as disconnects instead as wins or losses. I even noticed (once or twice) that a win would count as a quit and a loss would count as a disconnect, in the same evening. There is nothing I can do to fix it, so I don't care about that part of the game. I posted this before in another thread as well, but at least 3 people I work with have the same problem. I don't have extensive knowledge of the SOCOM 2 ranking system, but I have heard that they tried to fix it in SOCOM 3. Well, I think that they fuked it up pretty bad.

Its not like Zipper was like "Great, there they go whining about the rank ups, we better fix that now!"

Obviously they are trying all of the time to come up with ways to fix the problems, its just not that easy.

Yes I agree, the disconnects suck. But one must remember we are playing for free. Maybe Zipper uses crap servers, maybe if we paid a monthly fee zipper would get their sh** together. Me, I'll play for free and who cares about rank.

I haven'e had too many problems with disconnecting. SoggyMilk on the other hand........

Anyways I only got disconnected like a week after I got the game, after that it was all good.

They reset the disconnects once because of the time out error disconnects. Even though we experianced that problem for a short time again, and non-isp service interuption disconnects still happen, it seems they refuse to reset them again for whatever reason. Yet they have the time to take the medals away from socom 2, so more people will buy the map packs here.

I have 202 disconnects and 187 more wins than losses so I deffinately hate the disconnects. I also have Road Runner and I've heard on here before it doesn't matter what service you have but I just wanted to state I'm not using dial up,LOL. But seriously I wish they would just reset disconnects and freeze them at zero and everybody would have their Rank that they should have earned by stats and stats alone.

But until then I will continue to play in these Rank Rooms and keep getting disconnected while throwing a grenade or shooting someone in their Face and Freeze up while Blood is spraying out of their Face.

We all know the problems that need to be fixed on Socom but look at it like this We all still play the game.
