NFL banning TD celebrations?

Wow, the NFL is banning all extreme TD celebrations. I think they shouldn't because it's always fun to see Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, or TO after they score. I mean to me it's not a bad thing to celebrate when you score unless they run up the other teams sideline and taunt them.

It was given to them. Officials handed the Superbowl to them on a silver platter.

What do most people remember about the 2005 season ?

1. The bad officiating
2. Chad Johnson end zone celebrations

I find it makes the game more fun. Yeah, players shouldn't pimp products during celebration ( TO , Joe Horn ) but if NFL let the fans vote , they would see people want it in the games.

I have only seen a few Over The Top dances/celebrations on TSN or SportsCentre but i dont think that the NFL should ban them at all. O well, atleast i still have the CFL....

I do think some of them, have gotten carried away. TO really has.LOL
But if the player is really happy about the touchdown, I don't see anything wrong with jumping into the stands, doing backflips, etc. It's the guys that like to showboat, I don't like. It's the, "I'm better than you" celebration that spoiles the game.

3.The Steelers winning the SuperBowl
4.Ben Roethlisberger getting hurt
5.Deuce Staley not playing one game
6.That Chargers beating the Colts
7.The Steelers beating the #1,2,and 3 seeds to get to the SuperBowl and win it(only time that has ever been done)
8.T.O. not playing
9.Steve Smith getting 200+ yards in one game in the playoffs...
10.The REDSKINS getting to the playoffs...
Shall I go on?

He was trying to make a point. Not looking for some smartass remarks.

Anyway, I hope they don't ban TD celebrations. It's a part of the game, always has been.
