I agree with otter about the framerate sometimes being bad, but it is nowhere near what socom 2 was when there was > 20,000 people on at night. When I go back and play S2 the movement seems so much slower and less realistic. It does take more skill to be good at S2 unless you use an m14 or IW. I can't stand in S3 when some scrub who could never kill me in a straight up gun fight kills me because he is hiding in a bush. It usually only happens once, but that one time bothers me the rest of the map. I hate the vehicles on Socom 3. I also feel like Zipper tried to change too much for this game. To me the game would have been perfect with same amount of people, 16 per room, and smaller maps. I hate the small maps on S3. All they needed to do was 1) fix the lag, which it is better, but not as good as it could be; 2) Make some new maps; 3) keep the old maps and this game would have been perfect.
When I first started playing this game, I never thought I would be addicted. It was almost painful to try to learn these huge maps, but now I love the game. It is not as addictive as S2 was when it first came out, but the game overall gets a 9 out of 10 stars.
