Mute Option Question
im pretty sure all of u remember the mute option from S2, when it would actually make people mute, anyway, i was wondering if S3 has that same feature. i know theres a mute option, but for me it only makes there typing not show up, so is my mute thing messed up or is it that S3 has no mute option like S2 or do i just not know how to activate it?

I think all you need to do is go under the TAC menu and hit "ignore" and the name of the person. I've never tried it though, whenever I get sick of hearing moronic brain splooge I just unplug my headset.

I'm pretty sure that once you put them on ignore you can't hear them, I know you can't see what they type, I've used it for that a lot before. I'm pretty sure it mutes the player as well.

I think if you mute someone in game, you have to leave and re-enter the game for it to actually mute them.

I dont know why you have to but thats what I heard.

I never muted someone but that would be pointless if you had to re-enter the room. I would just join another room if i had to do that.
