Look, usually Im very reasonable, but that has to be the gayest thing ive ever seen. You cant vote people for playing a game the way they want to. Sniping is part of the game, its a war game for crying out loud. If you hate snipers/ camping so much you have 3 options, either learn how to employ strategy to beat them or play S2 or go play halo. I mean if your serious youre out of your friggin mind, its a game if you dont like it dont play.

Sniping is just total noobishness to the 10th power. You look through a scope from umpteen meters away and shoot some guy. And then in the lobby you act like a god when you went 10-1 on Harvester as a Terrorist, but on Citadel you can't muster more than 2 kills?

You obviously been sniped many many times. And it just pisses you off when you die in the 1st 30 secs of a map due to a sniper. You are a NOOB. I would hate to see socom w/o sniper rifles. It would basically be another halo game.

Ghille suits are useful in some instances. Heck I hate em on certain maps like harvester convoy when 6-7 seals are laying in the grass with sr's. But thats a good strategy that works for them. I just work my way around them or run em over in a tech.

YOU and several others need to quit whining and complaining about campers and snipers its part of the ****ing game NOOB.

Camping takes no skill. There again, I'm completely right on this one. You think knocking up 15+ kills in a bush establishes you as a good Socom player, wrong. Quick-sniping is a skill that is hard, but does not take long to quickly learn the technique. Try it sometime camping shitheads.

i got an idea. . . lets have everyone put their autos on single shot so that the sniper can run and gun with his m87. also, no one should put on a scope because scoping is totally noob and gives you no skill. maybe snipers in iraq should come out of hiding because it is totally unfair.

and can people really STFU about quick sniping. apparently that is the only acceptable way of getting a kill in this game. you guys who do it think you are the greatest players in the world because its such a "skill" where as sniping someone isnt, since you just look through a scope and get a kill.

Wednesday night, I went 19-6 on Harvester as a Seal, HK 36 / Rifle Laser / Front Grip, and all of the Terrorists but one were sniping.

What dont you people get? I'm just trying to get my point across for those players to get some skill. I hate how snipers that sit in a bush way in the back of their spawn and go 23-4 or something and think their a socom god. YOU DID NOTHING! no one is impressed when you sit in a bush and wait for someone to pass.

Plain and simple:

If you go out searching to kill someone and succeed, that is skill

If you wait for someone to pass you by when your hiding and then kill them, that is no skill.
