Do people on the east coast put milk in their cereal?

Some one told me that people from the east coast of America don't put milk in their cereal and like eat the cereal out of a bowl with a spoon. I was wondering if anyone else does this.

Cereal is eaten with milk, a bowl, and a spoon basically everywhere you go.

Some places have small variations, but that's the basic concept as marketed by cereal companies.

Whoever told you this needs to be slapped. It's still cereal, why would it be eaten mainly without milk? Sometimes I eat cereal plain depending on what it is and if I really want milk or not or if we even have it but it always taste better with milk.

Yeah I couldn't of put it any better. What else would you put in instead? Water?

Like mOB said I sometimes eat cereal out of the box but thats only if its Fruit Loops they make a good snack.

I actually prefer eating my ceral witohut milk...its just tastes better to me

I eat my cereal with milk all the time (and yes, Im from the East Coast). I dont think there is any other variation to eating cereal other then with milk or eating it dry. If there is another variation, let me know!

A friend of a friend of mine used to put water in it until someone convinced him to try milk and he liked it better.
