Post Begginer Weapon Configs and Attachments

For those of youn new to the game i've put together a list of commonly used guns that basically all of us have found to work well in general situations. Something i would suggest for anyonre new to the game buy the guide and beat the single player campaign on both commander and captain. By beating these, you unlock valuable peices of attachments for your guns and the ghillie, suits, which help to hide you when your camping or sniping.

Some good weapon configurations:

M16A2-High Scope-Rifle Laser
The M16A2 is extremely accurate rifle, and is considered the best non-silenced assault rifle in the Game. Availible to both sides, its extremely versatile and can be equiped for any situation. Usually people utilize the accuracy with a highscope and snipe with the M16.

SEALS

M4A1 (M4)-Medium/4x scope-Supressor 1
The M4 is a lighter, more compact version of the M16 assualt rifle. With Fully automatic and single shot fire modes the M4 is the most versatile of seal weapons. This standard loadout will suit most maps and circumstances but the weapon can be modified to suit close combat, ranged warfare, and camping situations.

Hk36-Medium scope-Front Grip
Another well rounded assault rifle, with better accuracy and a faster fire rate then the M4. Idealy, the HK36 is a close quarters weapon, but can be modified for long range firefights and accuracy. The front grip provides stability when firing from a crouch or stand up position. The front grip increases accuracy greatly, and when combined with the HK36's double shot fire mode, can be deadly.

SR-25-Medium/12x scope-suppressor1
I prefer the SR-25 over the M87ELR because of it's faster fire rate and the ability to silence it. Being able to silence your sniper rifle provides you with one of the most important tactics in the game:stealth. The only downside to the SR-25's sniping ability is that with a supressor it's range is dampered seriously compared to the ELR.

TERRORISTS

552-Medium/4x scope-Suppressor1
Another versatile weapon, eqaully as ajustable as the M4 and is ideal for all around use. It has a fast fire rate and three fire modes for optimum control. Decently accurate, a good all around weapon.

RA-14-Supressor 1-Front grip
The ideal run 'n gun/terrorist stealth weapon. Just about as equally customizeable as the 552 or the M4, the RA-14 bosts good accuracy and a fast fire rate. This weapon is great for amushs and camping.

M82A1A-High scope
Probably the most powerfull weapons in the game. Has a slow fire rate but kills with one shot. Seals fear this thing because of it's infinite range. This thing will fire as far as you can see and then some more on top of that. The only downside is that it's one of the heaviest guns, and it's extremely unwieldy in combat. Keep your trusty DE or Model 18 handy with this thing.

F90-Supressor1
The F90 is often regarded as a newb weapon because of its "automatic" head shots. In reality, the F90 is so unaccurate that the only reason you get a headshot is when your bullets are flying all over the place. It has a large clip which helps create sustained fire, and one of the fastest fire rates. It's an ideal weapon for street fighting and in tunnels and close spaces, but not recommended for its accuracy in open spaces or from behind.

ATTACHMENTS:

Slug Ammo
An optional form of ammunition for shotguns that fires solid rounds for accuracy rather then the normal exploding ones.

Double Ammo
Enables you to carry double ammo on your primary weapon.

12x scope
12x magnification device

High Scope
Provides 6x, 10x and 16x magnification on sniper rifles and the M16.

4x scope
A light scope that provides 4x magnification. Recommended for most rifles when at least some long range fighting will occur.

Medium Scope
A perfect scope for just about all maps with open areas, only unlucked when you beat the single player mode on Captain. Provides 3x and 8x magnification.

Red Dot
A 1x magnification scope with a 'red dot' in the veiw finder, great for big machine guns as it doent show recoil like other scopes.

Low Scope
Small scope for smaller maps as it provides relatively low zoom at 1.5x and 3x magnification.

Thermal Scope
A great scope that uses infared sensors to sepereate red body heat from the blue sorounding area. A great addition for maps with lots of snipers in the grass with ghillie suits. Only set back is that its quite weighty.

Bipods
Creat a stable platform for your gun while lying prone so that it increases accuracy.

Pistol(Front) Grip
A verticle pistol grip attached to the forward part of the gun. Increases accuracy drastically while crouched or standing. An essential atachment when applicable. Only unlocked when you beat the single player game on Captain.

Rifle Laser
Casts and infared laser light on targets to increase your accuracy.

Suppressor1/2
Partially muffles the sound of your rifle firing and eliminates muzzle flash, and essential peice of kit for stealth.

Thanks for the input everyone, and feel free top comment/add things.

this is refering back to the biopod issue

hey guys just think about it, when i very first started (this year) i didnt even have a mic so i just basically had to learn on my own how things worked. so basically i was able to figure out the dif between a sniper rifle and a auto so i just chose a sniper rifle and a 12x scope and biopod simply b/c it made sense and also b/c id seen it b4 on t.v and other mags and books, not that it matters but being a beginner it made sense. i quickly learn one time when i fergot the biopod that it made life alot harder not alot but enough that i sucked during that game so i basically learned my skills awith a bio. so basically i believe that for a beginner it helps a hell of alot and hey if i havent played for a week or so i ( if im sniping) i use a bio for a round or two to get used to it again to get in the grove so guys all im say is basically dont try and say bio's are pointless for beginners because they arnt, besides the odd few apreciate it some times and also some of u may have even used 1 for a while.

No... No. Bipods are WAY too heavy. The gun HARDLY moves when you're laying down anyways. It's a complete and TOTAL waste of load.

You mean bipods on sniper rifles right? Because bipods on the M60/M8 are ****in' tanks
