Running Yourself Over....Question Time

Got a quick question for everybody. When you do run yourself over, do you get credited with a kill? I have only done this once or twice and didnt look. The logic behind my question is why doesnt it register as S3XYR3XY commited suicide. Instead it says S3XYR3XY ran over S3XYR3XY. Which would lead me to believe it becomes a kill and a death, this wouldnt be rank up either because you get a kill but you also die therefore staying at .500 and not improving your overall stats. Any ideas or answers are appreciated.

I think it does count as a suicide even though it doesnt say it.

Yes, when you run yourself over. You have 2 points taken away from your overall score. I have ran myself over a number of times, it's really depressing!

I don't know or care to know how you would manage to do this but I don't think it would be a kill and a death. If it was anything other than a suicide I think it would be a team kill and a death.

Well its not too tough to manage actually. Start the Buggy, Go Fast, Sharp Turn the buggy and bail out, Ive only done this 1-2 times. I was just wondering about the kill or death just because the socom registery acts funky some times. It was Just a question.

If it did count as a kill and a death, surely they would cancel eachother out therefore making it pointless to do it. I too cant really see how you would do it but I was in a game last week on Devils road as a terrorist, I just spawned and 2 guys in a buggy came speeding up so I took cover ready to fight, and the driver jumped out and ran himself over and the gunner was just left helpless. It was hilarious because we all thought they would be spawn killing for ages but they didnt even get a kill

easier way, just do donuts with your vehicle, then bail and the spinning car would hit you.

Or you could do what happened to me. I jumped out of my buggy and I was in front of it and my team member driving another buggy hit my buggy and it ran over me and it said "Kill_Fever ran over Kill_Fever"

True story... I once parked an ALSV halfway on the rock and halfway off, where the tank spawns in Devils Road... Got out, the ALSV fell down the side of the rock and killed me. It said "Tixbomber commits suicide with ALSV" it was awesome.
