On permit? Or by yourself?
My first time driving alone was very weird feeling but its just normal now. When I had my permit I went driving in a clutch car so that was new but fun. :D

Don't be, it's not a hard thing to do. Just suck it up, pay attention, and do it. I was nervous way back when I started to drive, when it came for my first time to drive, I figured the worst thing for me to do is to be nervous. So I sucked it up and did it.

Most important thing is watch everyone else. Driving is the easy part. Watching people around you and the random things they might do is the hard part.
Watch out for women...they suck at driving.

YOu just gonna make sure you dont LOOK at the women that are driving. They don't suck, they are just hard not to look at. lol
ANywho, the biggest thing is just to watch other people. ANd make sure you LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTOR and pay attention in the class. Its really easy.

Drive defensively (sp??), and you will be fine. Watch out for others on the road. its ot you that usually makes a mistake, but others most of the time. Just pay attention, and after a while it will become second nature to you. And plus when you get your full license, you will love it. I know I did. :D

the slightest push of the petal too hard Will jerk u back, when i was learning, i was driving slow so when i was stopped i and had to go again i would push the pedal a tad to hard and the car would jerk into motion. Watch out for other ppl, and look into the mirrors, that was the hardest thing for me to do when i was learning to drive was remember to use the mirror

The first time that I went driving, I had to go up a very steep dirt and gravel driveway. I messed it up a little and my mom laughed at me for it. But then my Uncle, who was teaching me at the time, told me that she failed in her first attempt to drive up the thing too, so I felt better. :P
