Spectator's Glitch! What EXACTLY is it? *EDITED*

well, yes AND no. I find glitching kinda interesting, since I want to become a video game designer someday. I call this learning from other people's mistakes. lol

The problem is that I did yesterday and... same as capt, for research.. is still in .. and for some reason I fear this glitch.. at least the way i did it can let in into non-spec rooms.. wich I fear the most.. since this can ruin a good game..also have reason to believe there is website that hosts all glitches in socom3 even the spec glitch is sad that people use this to ruin peoples fun..hope this gets fixed.

You mentioned you saw a guy under the name "ageofpoo" in there doing the glitch when you went in to do it. Just in case you wanted to know I've seen that guy before and he was doing the spec glitch.

Yeah, it's a good thing ageofpoo was banned. Lots of people have run into him. He sometimes GL's all his teammates at spawn along with the spec glitch.

It's weird though, twice on Tidal Fury as SEALs I've seen an odd glitch happen that sort of seems like the spec glitch. Someone will join a room, and somehow they will take the spot of a current player in a way. The glitching person will join the room normally, and can talk, pick weapons, etc. When they talk no name shows up, no one can see them, and when they shoot the bullets do nothing. Their name won't show up on the SELECT screen either.

Last time it happened one teammate's name suddenly changed to that of the glitching person(when I was dead and watching him I noticed the name was different). The glitching person could not see the person whom he had sort of replaced, but could see his own name on the SELECT screen. After he left, his name still showed up when dead and watching the other guy.

I'm pretty sure this just happens on accident since both times the glitching people sounded pretty darn surprised and insisted that they aren't spec glitching. The only advantages were that the glitching person could run ahead and sort of call out where enemies were. They couldn't interact in anyway with the opposing team.

Love the topic, hate the sig. Anyone who truely believes that Bush wants to destroy America is misguided. I hope they put out a patch on this soon, I've been having a lot of trouble with these glitchers.

I've actually noticed there aren't any glitchers lately. But I only play in Junior Grades convoy/demo/control games. Since I hooked up with clan TM, there's usually enough of us in a room to vote out a glitcher.

The spectator glitch is sorta interesting though; nobody plays in the "demo" rooms that are in every east 1 east 2 east 3 room - as a result, people are creating more custom rooms with different tweaks. It really adds more character to the game.

Yes, I hope they fix this soon. I noticed "skin" glitching is becoming a major problem too. I'm new to this game and when you enter a room with honest play.....it is so much fun. However, these "glitchers" are more annoying than a good sniper LMAO

happens on an acident all time.....thats something they should patch cause its such a common glitch....i mean u get it sometimes for just switching teams u know
