I think Socom 1 was a landmark for gaming to be honest, Socom 2 did improve on it on a scale for the majority of gamers, however Socom 3 seems to be in dismay.

The truth is plain and simple Socom 3 is the best game out of all three. That being said it is also no where near what 2 was as an experience. Many of you have said that when you died in 2 you spoke tactics with your teammates and you do not do the same on here. I have been with the same clan since 2 and I will tell you why. If you are not playing a big map ( which I hate to play) then you are forced to play small maps that are almost always sup. maps. What kind of tactics do you need in a sup map. 2 of you go up to the roof and camp, 4 of you get to the boat quick and camp, I'll watch the asscrack the rest go through the tunnels, get by the windmill before you get sniped. I have just told you what we all he in small sup. maps. Now in S2 all the maps had a mission. Plants, rescue, extraction, breach. We never played sup. maps in S2. When you have a mission besides survival then you have to talk to your teammates or you will lose the game. No such thing as Rambos in S2. If you were playing a rescue map and you and 1 teammate were alive then you HAVE to come up with a plan t6o get the VIPs. In this it find a safe place and dtay there. This is just my thoughts on the matter. And I am always looking for mission maps on this. Hit me up whenever one is up. S# name is SireC.

Frostfire not suppression? How about vigliance, chain reaction, abandon, shadow falls? I don't think those maps were demo, breach, escort, or extract, so therefore they were suppression.

Yes your right but can you honestly tell me that you played a medley with nothing but those maps in it. I thought not. You will play a medley and hace maybe 2 sup maps in it and everything else was mission maps. Plus alot of people didn't play the sup. maps because of the camping and the long wait. That was my reasoning in the first place. Now that is all we play.

I don't remember ever talking tactics in S2, but that's just me.
S2 rounds rarely timed out because most people rushed and had fun.
And I played mostly Demo meds, some breaches, and lots of sup but I remember the objective being a distant second to just killing people.
Also I'm not sure what you mean by "No such thing as Rambos in S2" I played many a game in S2 where the outcome was determined by one guy. It was possible to take out an entire team in S2 ( I did two or three times ) because for the most part people didn't just sit in bushes they rushed out and had fun.
And as far as finding a safe spot, have you played any escort or extractions on S3 ? or convoys or breach maps - Because you either complete your objective or you lose !
Somehow I'm thinking you got it mixed up but sorry if I misunderstood. If you only play small maps then you are limiting yourself, And if that is all your clan will play then it might be time for a new clan. Suppression is not all I play.

I work the third shift so I normally play in the morning maybe that is why I don't see all the other maps filling up. Today I could not sleep and played around 4 oclock and I finally got to play other then sup. maps and like I said they are fun as hell. The problem was that it no one one a round until the 6th round because we could not plant the bomb. I still had fun because it wasn't a sup map though. I also ended up making another name on S3 so that I can play when my clan is not on and get with a new clan that wars and plays normal maps. So you are right in that regards. Now as for Rambos in S2, if you did that all the time then the people you played with sucked. That would not have happened to my clan. You may get lucky one round by getting 4/5 kills but on the norm. not happening.
