Silent guns worth it on big maps?

I've recently made the switch from using the SASR & SR25 silenced to either the unsilenced or to a more powerful sniper rifle. This also goes with not using a silenced M4/M8 w/ a scope because the range of these guns is cut down so much. There have been countless times when Im sniping at someone who is very easily seen in my scope but the gun won't reach them.

Of course this is really only a problem in big maps where you actually need to use the scope in order to shoot people at a distance. I don't think theres any gun(including those with a frontgrip) without a scope that could come close to beating someone who has a scoped m16 from far away.

i rarely use a silencer, unless its a map like Tidal Fury, i like to stick with a front grip and red dot, sometimes a rifle laser, most of the time though i have a sniper rifle, so it doesnt bother me too much, M87, not SR

M87 and M82 are my chice usually, so I can't get a silencer. Otherwise I use M16, so mostly I never use silenced weapons.

Silenced weapons get people pissed off when you use them...also i like to use them because people will just start wondering..where did he come from? etc..im starting to use the Sr-25 and SASR surpressed now

i love silenced unless u dont need it like in convoy no one i know uses silenced in those kinda maps

I prefer the M2A1A and snipers like that b/c they have the 16x scope. The SR25 only has a 12x scope. It's stupid.

I use silencers when I plan to hide and not want to be seen only for the purpose of the flash not giving away my spot. They should add flash suppressors so I can use one of them and still get distance.

i love silenced guns
mebeh in some maps but other maps arent silenced maps

i always use a iw or a stg with a front grip and i either use a scope or a silencer depending on the map. ie. harvester i use a scope becuae its more of a sniping map but in fault i use a silencer

I like the sr and sasr silenced when Im wearing a guille suite, as being hard to see is pointless when everyone can hear a loud osok shot be fired, I also like to play with a silenced assult rifle every now and then, just so I can sneak up behind snipers and blow them away without other snipers knowing where I am.
