Playing PS2 on a PC? + online play with the memory card
My PS2 is in the bedroom and I usually stop playing when my wife wants to go to sleep. I was thinking that there has to be a way to connect the PS2 to the PC using one of thse PCI video cards that they use for video to DVD editing. They have the video and audio input jacks...Does anyone think that this would work? Would I need the PCI video card that is also a TV tuner?

Secondly, I have been using the same 8MB memory card for several games. I just overwrite the previous saved game entry for each game title that I play. I've got about 4-5 games on this one card with saved games + the online config that I set up today. When I set up my online profile, I didn't save it to the card because I didn't know if it would erase ALL my cards data. Does anyone know if it adds teh saved user profile to the card or does it completely overwrite all the data on the card when it saves a new profile.

I don;t know the answer to your question exactly, but my dad rigged up a snes to a pc moniter back when they were teh big system, so It is probably possible to hook up a ps2 to a pc moniter.

and for your second question, unless im misunderstanding what your trying to do, your other games will not be removed from the card.

you can get emulators to play any kind of console game on computers. you just have to find them.

my friend rigged up his ps2 so that he could run his internet through his laptop, which had a wireless connection, so whenever we would drive anywhere, we would play socom 2 on the way.

you can do pretty much anything with your computer and ps2... since they are pretty much the same thing. one just needs to know how to do it.
